I'm getting ready to register a new domain name and get new hosting. I used to use g0daddy but they suck. I'm going to setup some blogs using wordpress. Any new host recommendations would be appreciated.
I use hostgator as well never had any problems with them, and fantastico is very handy for installing your blogs.
HostGator or DreamHost for multiple wordpress blogs. No more worries about crossing the over CPU limit.
Hostgator is good and they don't overload their servers... You just have to stay on the "straight and narrow" with them... Otherwise they do the boot and ask questions later. Cyp
i hate godaddy. It takes forever to log in hosing account, and takes forever for the domain to be parked. I m using hosgator for my freestuff site. Hostgator 's speed is the best.
I've used Hostgator in the past but have been using apthost for last few months and really like them for blogging. especially for autoblogs.
1and1 hands down. just check out their site for packages. Its like 5 bucks a month for tons of options/storage, 2 free domains, tons of subdomains email accounts ftp, everything. And domain privacy is free on every domain you register through them. I have like 6 domains on my account, all wordpress but 1. They are fast and always up!! PM me for questions or aff link.
i have godaddy, lunar pages, bluehost and dreamhost. So far only bluehost can handle a 5000 a day wordpress blog, all of the others are always shutting my site down for CPU process limit (FTW!) dont go anywhere dreamhost if you are a cpanel user (not user friendly) and I've heard they share 999 other domains with your shared domain/ webhosting. Lunarpages great support but as I've said very poor in CPU process thingie. Cheap @ 4.95/mo? Bluehost on the other hand cause it has google and yahoo credits. I havent have a problem with CPU (so far).
I use Hostgator and like them. I have a reseller account and use domain dashboard to upload new domains. Works well together.
I use MMHosting and after 10 years of being stuffed around by hosts they are definately the best (and reasonably priced too!)
Agreed, I use them. I would suggest checking it out, And likehe said you can find codes lying around and sometimes get $50.00 off, plus some free domains etc
