Best free tool to find placement of site on google?

There is a *free* version of market samurai on here somewhere

You give it exact search and it looks it up for you and tells you what number you are. It can also do bing and yahoo too. You can add several searches then save your project and every time you want to check rank all you will have to do is press update.

a great tool is the one over at seo centro, it shows bing, google, yahoo and also the top 40 in each search engine for your keyword. it shows a few other things too, check it out.

Market Samurai's Rank Tracker is awesome for this.

You can toss in your webpages and duplicate them for each keyword you're targeting which allows you to see how the same website ranks for different keywords.

Nice tool mate. I bookmarked your site for future use as well

Nice tools but what if your keyword ranking is not in the top 100 searches? In this case what i do is manually search for them in an easy manner which is also reliable.

  1. Go to Google.com
  2. Click on "Search Settings" (which on the top right corner of the page)
  3. Scroll down to "Number of Results "and have it made to "100"
  4. Type in your keyword your ranking for and hit search
  5. Copy the URL of your page your targeting
  6. Crtl+F and paste the URL in the find box
Now click on the "Next" to check if your page for the targeted keyword is placed on the top 100 (which is your 1st page). If you don't have the luck in the 1st page try the 2nd page and way you go. Hope it helps.
