What would be THE BEST forum software? Which one is most spam proof, wider SEO plugin selection?

Right now i'm thinking of Joomla (looks like joomla is CMS platform... thanks dr.pepper for the correction lmao), dont know exactly why i have cometh for that decision.

Also what plugins do you vouch for? SEO and monetizing plugins, maybe social plugins aswell.

I'm going to launch a website in a moment, but i need to get forum up first and i'm in the stage of picking right software....

For starters the forum software needs to be free, later on when the forum produces cash, i will invest that money into costly forum software if it is recommended :)

Thanks! SEO is my main concern but thats good if it is optimized for it by default :)

So i'm going iwht PhPBB then, what plugins can people recommend with it? good anti-spam protection and some good ad-placement plugin.

I found extremely hot niche with almost zero competition and 27k exacts monthly, interest to see how fast my forum will swell up.
