I am not sure if this is the right subforum but I wasn't really sure where to put it. Looking for recommended download managers for win 7. What do most people use?

    Thanks

FreeDownloadManager is one; if you download from a lot from filehosting sites like rapidshare, filesonic, etc.. check out jdownloader.

Hey thanks. I found one in another thread called MiPony but I was unsure if that was the best. Basically using it to download the links that get posted in the download section if someone posts like 30 links for one product

I also vote for Internet Download Manager. I am using it for at least 2 years now.

I got it but I do have a question. Say I want to download alll the links from here in an automated fashion: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/366676-get-rapid-video-blogging-1-997-gideon-shalwick.html

All those links point to other links (like megaupload etc etc). They are not exactly direct links to the file. Is there a way possible for the program to download everything in automated fashion or am I SOL.

Yes, say you have a MU account, you add that into IDM then copy the links and paste from clipboard into IDM.

Works like a treat when you have a bunch of premium subscriptions for various sites ;-).

I haven't tested mediafire as that is the only premium sharing site that works well (as in downloading).
