    hey guys,

not sure where this thread belongs but, i basically am looking for some hardcore'ish security software. i use pretty pedestrian stuff and am looking to protect my work with something more robust.

can anyone share their info and why?

Come on Jr. VIP, you know this question does not belong in a Blackhat SEO section.

ah beat me to it, i was just gonna post this question (thank you search button!)

i am looking for something better that what i have for an av/anti-malware etc because i've seen my av mysteriously shut down on it's own a couple times and am concerned i'm already infected, although researching tech forums this is the best recommended i could find so far and what i currently use:

av: nod32 (not the security suite)
    firewall: comodo (free)
    keylogger: keyscrambler (free)
malware: spybot s&d (free) and spyware blaster (free)
    auto updater: secunia psi

also i've just discovered bleepingcomputer and it seems to be a highly recommended forum with a boatload of resources. still reading up.

Well... in my opinion, the best antivirus to protect your computer from viruses and spyware is... AVG Antivirus
