So forgive me because I am a complete noob. I'm sure these questions have been asked before, but I'd like to actually get some direct responses to my questions instead of digging up year old threads. A little about me first. I work a full time job which I enjoy, have a wife, a house, etc. I make enough money to support everything and live pretty comfortably. However, I realize I'm like many Americans who are 3 or 4 paychecks away from utter destitution. I save up a little as I go along, but something always comes up to drain my funds. Either something breaks in the house, or maybe the car, etc. I'm sure everyone deals with these problems. My wife doesn't work right now, and is currently looking for a job. Hasn't been very lucky. The last place she got hired at let her go after 2 days. Just not a great time now for job hunting I guess. Anyway, I am looking for something that I could do a little a day in my spare time. Ideally it would be something that could generate at least $200 or so extra a month. Basically $7 extra a day is my goal right now.

I've dabbled with websites and such back when I was a teenager, but I eventually lost touch. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, because I realize that's what is going to be making the most money in the future. I have read a lot of the threads here and have an idea on which way I'd like to go. I'd just like a little help getting there. I'm also open to the idea of working with someone. If we could both profit by working together, that would be great!

So, I spend a lot of time on the Internet and I have come across these particular websites. Say for instance I'm trying to stream a movie online. I'll go to a site which looks pretty legit. It has a little video player on it and everything. Then you click on it and it takes you to a survey page. I've been blocked by those for a long time, and I can never seem to complete them. Honestly, do they even work? I've never given them REAL information though, so maybe that's why. I know they are just scams to charge your phone or make you install some sort of virus or something right?

So, this is the direction I'd like to take with the whole Internet Marketing thing. I just don't know if the market is just too saturated with these types of scams. How would mine really be any different? I do have a great knowledge of movies and video games which I could use to my advantage, since I know what people like and are looking for online. From what I have read, those survey sites pay you if a person clicks, or downloads, or installs. I guess you get paid differently depending on how far you hook them in.

So are these types of site still doable? I have some startup capital that I have no problem spending on a website or marketing, but I just want to make sure it works.

    Hello, how're you doing?

What you are referring to is called CPA, cost-per-action. A lot of members here have the wrong impression and believe that a lot of things are saturated. Yes, there are a few saturated methods and such out there, but most methods just require a lot of hard work and a little personal twist on it.

Ideally, you'd use Wordpress (free), purchase a nice template ($25 or find a free one), and start uploading movies. That's just the gist. You'll probably want to install a bunch of plugins. From there you'll just promote the hell out of the site. What you're doing is illegal though, so this is probably too risky and I wouldn't recommend it.

You could also take a plunge into different areas of IM. Whatever you do, choose something you enjoy.
