    Hi,

My gf is looking for a simple and straightforward software that will make a brochure.

Her level of technical expertise is probably 'amateur' at best.

This will be for her Spa/Salon business

I'm thinking the ideal software for her will allow you to pick a layout/template and then fill in the fields one at a time sort of like a Wizard.

We have looked at MS Publisher, which she has experience using, but is thrown off by the whole Ribbon crap characteristic of MS software since ~2007.

Plus, Publisher might even be too advanced for her needs... like I said just looking for something simple & straightforward

Any suggestions please? If Publisher is as straightforward as it gets, she will work with that, but just checking!

I appreciate the suggestion but not really looking for photoshop templates.

I don't know if this exists... but if there is a program where you can select a template/design and then a wizard takes you through the rest of the way, that'd be ideal.

If it doesn't exist, will probably just stick with publisher

This is very important because it will give people the first impression of your business so if she has NO experience she shouldn't do it herself. You can find people that do great work online for cheap. If you know what you want said then I would hire someone to design it for you then print it. I could give you the info of the guy I use if you want PM me.
