I'm looking for a supplier that ships from/to the US.
I thought about using Amazon for the speedy delivery but I cannot handle the thought of people recieving Amazon packaging and being confused or price checking. I'm now considering trying dropshipping from Ebay, if I can find a good supplier to work with.

What experience do you guys have? Any ideas?

if u are lucky i guess you can find someone in US, but if u are serious u take a bag of cash and go to china

Depends on your niche, but if you're really serious about it, the best way is to find a list of potential suppliers and hope on a plane to visit them one by one.

If you're just lazy trying to give dropshipping a shot, wander around aliexpress and order some single items first to test their quality.

I already have my product (beauty niche), I'm moving away from AliExpress. The same item is available on Amazon or eBay.

Once I've made a few thousand sales I will private label and ship from China to US fulfillment center.

But for now I want a US supplier, maybe I'll try and connect with a few people on eBay. I'm just worried about paying and then not knowing if/when they send the products as it won't be me receiving them.

Well if you're really going serious and worried about that, the only way is to move your ass around. Meet face to face with the suppliers, make a contract stablishing the terms and so on.

Why not just google 'beauty wholesale' or similar to find anyone who does wholesale accounts state side?

Or just buy the product in bulk and ship it out? I doubt your going to find a private seller offering to dispatch it out white label without charging you a premium for it.

This is a good one, meeting them will get you better deals and help you understand their product and how they work a lot better

Finding a good supplier is always a very challenging part. Try to use google and do good research and start contacting each one. You may also consider picking up the phone to make for potential suppliers. In my opinion, you always look more serious when you trying to reach your supplier by phone.

as advised need to know who the big importers and have meetings.

I did it once for wallets and purses in the UK I found the makers 30p a drop I no madness, sold at £8 to £12 each.

true story.

the wholesaler was at £1.10 each I even beat his price.

find the makers distributors.

mine was a sweat house of ppl making thousands of fake leather goods in the UK gone know.

lasted a long time was fun .

if you look hard you can find there many importers in every country.

startup cost can cost a lot but when get going soon get cash back.

many years ago this was .

if the sellers on amazon and ebay are selling the same product, there is a big chance that they are just reselling it from aliexpress. so you would end up paying more for the same product.
Why do you want to move away from aliexpress?

eBay is not an option as behind eBay profiles mostly sit Chinese sellers and won't ship in 5-10 days to the USA.

Send product as a gift.. select gift when you are placing order from amazon.. Customer will not see the product price.
