Okay, so I pretty much checked out the top ten affiliate advertising companies around. I'm not an affiliate but an advertiser. They want a huge cut in the commission department. 30 per free sign up is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. This might be due to the fact that they have so much over head or that they deal with corporations that can afford that kind of payout. I guess what I'm looking for a reputable network for an advertiser. Maybe a newly started network or just a company that doesn't charge so much for commissions.

    Any feedback would be HUGE!

    Thanks,

i pay $40 for a product that costs $9 to produce. Sucks.

Work out your estimated value of each customer. If you know every 1 in 4 free customers spends $120, you know it's worth it to pay $30 for each sign up.

Just give it a go and see what happens.

PS - some smaller networks you can easily haggle down as it's more business for them.

1.get your numbers ready first.Your expected ROI against investment.
2.Cap the number of leads if you're tight on budget.
4.Check results, conversions, everyday. If you are selling something outright
and not some free trial stuff, then you will have a decent amount of cash coming in.
    5.Make money.
    6.Rinse and repeat.

Say your cost to make the product is $2.
    Your selling it for $20.
    Afff comm - 10 dollars.
    Network Comm - depends

You will net a good profit
    if you set up campaigns
    across the best networks
    this way.

Aff / net commission is the same thing. You only get 1 charge per lead. They divvy it up on their end however they want, hence giving them flexibility to increase payout etc.

put it this way, my commissions are between 4-5 times the cost of my product, shipping, fulfilment and customer service added together.

    Leads don't come cheap!
