Being hounded by this Jimmy Kim nonsense (great sales pitch, I almost bought...)

Look I know it's rubbish, you know it's rubbish, but just for a brief moment I wanted to believe that this was real and some marketer who actually DOES make however many thousands per month selling free stuff etc. could make me a fortune.

Then I Googled the guy's name... looks like he's had this system or similar for a while... hmmm...

I originally saw the link on Warrior Forum. Now his autoresponder hammers my inbox several times a day. I - have a look - this isn't an affiliate link or if it is, it's not mine. I smell BS but is it as smelly as all that? The url is buildmylist.co

I signed up to go to some webinar he did (after it had already taken place but I got to see the video - it was 100% sales - no info at all).

Is he selling "how to make money selling people on how to make money"? Or is it something else? I signed up for the free stuff because I need to do some email marketing for some work I'm getting paid to do - I need to generate some finance investment leads and they need to be good. I might post in the appropriate forum for that. I thought I might have a pop at doing it myself - or I'll pay for them and filter them myself. I don't mind. I thought this guy's systems might help but it looks now they might be more a curse than a blessing.

Anyhow. If anyone's come across this guy before, is he for real? Does any of his stuff work? Is it really worth a hundred gazillion dollars as he claims? (but yours today for just $49 blah blah blah).

I'm not familiar with this guy at all, but someone sent me an email for that too. I unsubscribed from the list.

If they are selling it for $49 it isn't worth "A hundred gazillion dollars". That's a fact. At most, I would say it's worth $49 (though likely far less).

As a general rule I don't trust people who film videos in front of their garage showing their Range Roves. (Unless they are selling Range Rovers). Generally speaking, this type of stuff is all crap. Search around here for email marketing tips - or post questions. I suspect you'll get much better info as a whole.

    Jimmy Kim is legit.

The method which he is teaching is time tested and proven. Build list, send emails = PROFIT.

Will buying his product make you a million bucks? Probably not, but its up to you and what you do with that information.

As marketers, you can't complain about being marketed to, it's all apart of the game.

Yes that's been going on for as long as I can remember and I'm celebrating my 21st year online this year.

What I don't understand is - what's in it for him.

He sold 5000 copies or something of this "system" so - yeah that's 50k and with economies of scale the services he's providing will cost pennies per user.

So what's in it for him?

He'll be going up against all the people selling these products so that's more competition for him. So it ain't that.

His customized plugins no doubt provide backlinks in to his own sites so it might be a bit of that.

Actually his customized plugins could conceivably contain backdoors so he can run all these Wordpress installations like a swarm of bots. But that would be creepy and I think he's out to make money, nothing more "radical" than that.

Could it be the ranges of affiliate products he's getting people to sell, offer a 2nd tier of commissions, kinda like MLM (spit) - so people using his system get their affiliate percentages but then he gets a small percentage on top of that. Multiply that out by however many users - 5,000? - probably less because a lot of people will spend $49 then not bother to use it... and then complain that it doesn't work ;) ...

Anyhow, it was a bewildering avalanche of marketing cráp worth (in his mind) $3k that he was giving away for $49 and now he's turned it off. Ho hum.

His method is what most super marketers use, but hes not smart enough to do his method. The twist is to offer services that help build the list and offer products that would help the affiliate make money.

I've bought this stuff, and my first impression is that it is professional and well-rounded system packed with useful readymade tools surely worth $49 and of course he is trying to sell a bunch of additional stuff to you after the purchase, still in my opinion even in the basic version it can be very handy especially for members on this forum that are familiar with traffic generation. Although he quit selling it on his webpage, it is still available.
