I don't write guides or anything spectacular, but I do see a lot of posts from new members that are having varying issues. I hope by the end of this, it might be of some help and or might give you a steer in the right direction. Also, read this first https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/newbie-guide.242/

Go and introduce yourself to the community and maybe talk about who you are or what type of marketing you are into. Next, make sure you don't post this as a resume; just be yourself as you would typically when meeting people in a group setting.

One thing you can do once you have created your account is to start to post about topics you have some familiarity in. Posting something of value that will help others is something that not only brings value to BHW but also is a form of giving back. For example, you are good at web design, social media, coding, and or SEO and you want to put up a guide or post on an existing topic. There are many things you can post on, but please don't copy and paste (always cite your resource) as it's not adding value, and most members will see through it. Also, don't just say "This is good" or a few word comments add some value if you can to the topic. Its great to be enthusiastic, but going around and posting just to post is not what you want to do. You have to think to yourself if BHW was a book in ink that couldn't be edited would I want to write that?

It's a great forum where we have members from around the world, and you never know you might end up making friendships and or business connections as well. I would encourage you to follow some of the higher-ranking members and look at their posts. You can see how they conduct themselves, and you will get the gist of what to do and what not to do.

Next, if you are starting, try focusing on one method or type of internet marketing. A lot of times, you might find yourself seeing tons of topics and then not getting one thing done. (Shinning object syndrome) . Try to focus on just one aspect of IM and steer clear of distractions that will ultimately happen as BHW has tons of topics going on each day, but try to limit how much time you spend and put some of it to the action!

Lastly, I know this guide or post is nothing extraordinary, but being apart of a forum with so many great individuals that have varying expertise makes it a great place to start a career in IM or to supplement the income you are making. Finally, we are all guests on this forum no matter what membership level you have, so follow the rules and get the most out of being a Newbie as you can.

As you said nothing extraordinary, but gives a few motivations.

I can understand you have started your weekend party.
