Hi everyone,

I’m new here and testing small projects on a very tight budget.

I’ve noticed email account prices vary a lot and I want to avoid mistakes.

From your experience, what price range and basic features should a beginner expect for low-budget email accounts, and what red flags should be avoided?

Thanks for the guidance.

What is the purpose of the emails you want to use?

For testing small projects and account registrations while learning. No spam or abuse.

Using throwaway domains with catchalls is a good approach, but I've found that buying email accounts in bulk from reputable sellers can be more cost-effective, with prices ranging from $0.50 to $2 per account. For a beginner, basic features to expect include SMTP access, IMAP support, and a decent inbox size, at least 100MB. Be cautious of sellers offering extremely cheap prices, less than $0.20 per account, as these often come with compromised accounts or poor deliverability. I've also seen better results with providers that offer a mix of TLDs and IP diversity, reducing the risk of account suspensions.
