    Hey guys,

I'm from Germany and a total beginner in IM. As i mentioned i lost my job after an accident and need some bucks extra (well, for now just some bucks ;) )

I played alot with Samurai the last days and read about SEO, especially post-panda/penguin.

I understandthat you need to be competent in the topic you're talking about, so i chose my favorite (dating, i read and used alot of that PU-stuff and wrote my own book)

I'm aware that it is impossible for a beginner to rank for a kw with xx,xxx searches a day, like dating.

So i went on a and seeked for a subniche that i can dominate for stable income (probably not thousands, but maybe some bucks for the start).

I found 1 keyword combination within the niche that has an "okay" level of competition (well, i think so..)
It has 1,900 searches a month (broad), and 58 searches (exact).

Only #2, 3, 6 and 10 in the competition matrix are really targeting the niche dating (not even my exact keyword). I attached the matrix.

I know, the future can't be foreseen but does it make sense to enter that niche in the long run? Maybe one of the experts can tell from the first view.

    Best Regards

    Dont go for it,
    Broad searched mean nothing,

Always try to find exact keywords with exact searches.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    2 Questions:

    1) can u explain a bit further why broad searches mean nothing?
    2) despite the keyword being low traffic, could i probably rank for it?

    Best Regards :)

You dont get that many visits,
Even if you rank #1 for a term, you can expect ~60-70% traffic of the Exact searches.
Yes,you can probably rank for it,but even if you get at #1 then you will only got
    ~40/visits per month.
I am sure its not worth the time/money put in to build the sites.
