Been out for a while need some advice on specific lead generation

Hey everyone. Okay so I have been out of the biz for a few years and need a little advice. I have client who started a handyman referal service. I need to get handymen on the site for specific states. I know that they are always advertising on classifieds in papers with their phone numbers. What I want is to reach them through either email or have them fill out a lead form. Where should I start on this. Looking for serious advice or real services to help me with this project.

Well, it’s easy to find handymen - you can look on google for local search terms, local business directories and so on.

You can easily build a list of emails to target.

The next step will be convincing them to join; for that you’ll need traffic and leads for the handymen.

So you also want to look at ranking for terms like handyman in new York or whatever.

Then you have a selling point for getting people to join the referral program.

For that side of it you need to look at local seo optimisation- citations, niche backlinks, local backlinks etc.
