    Hello guys
    I upgraded to Jr.Vip today and I am happy now :)

    I will tell you something about me hope its inspirational -

    I started IM about 2 years ago , found BHW last year (till then I was a complete noob).
    When I joined BHW I saw lots of methods and I usually used to try a method and if I didnt saw any results in 2-3 days I would use to dump that lol.
    But from recent 6-7 months I learned that even if I get a method I would try it for atleast 1 month to see the result even if I dont succeed in the method I would learn some things that would help me in future.

    From last 3-4 months I got senuke and I burned my ass learning how to use it by watching many videos and reading pdf's and now I think I am nearly perfect in it :)

    So Moral of the story is -
    Dont give up,even if you fail IM is not for Quitters
    if you do hard work you will be getting rewards.

    Thanks.

    Thats the problem of 99% people trying to make money on Internet.
    Most of the people I know from BHW are doing this constantly.
    Good that you overcome this.
    Good Luck!

    Agreed.

    Starting out as a WH guy with just 1 big authority site I was used to things taking time, lots of time. So for me it was easy to as most BH methods yielded results faster than that. I think a lot of people come in with the get rich quick mindset though and if they only are making $5 a day that first week they write it off and move on instead of analyzing what is working and finding how to increase it.

    good to hear you turned the corner, I'm in a similar position at the moment. I've tried a few methods, I think I've learned a lot from them, good and bad experiences.

    This forum has been invaluable for me, and now that I'm in a better position I'll be starting to give back to it, firstly with activity, and then with a donation in a couple of months ;)

    A few years ago I discussed a method here that generated a ton of attention. People were complaining about it being over-saturated. I just tried it again the other day and nobody was doing it. I've made $10 within 20 minutes just to see if it still works. I can only assume that all the people who knew about it have given up. IM is like any other thing in life that you need to work for whether it's learning how to play a piano, losing weight or writing a book. ~95% of people will fail at it. I've been promoting an affiliate network last year and I would get maybe 1 good earner every 1000 members. Most of them will never earn a penny. It's good though. Less competition for us. Also, these people will never steal your dreams from you by achieving your goals. It's like playing poker. You don't need to be the best player in the world to make money. You just need to be slightly better than 6 people on your table. If you put that 10% extra effort into IM you'll be stealing niches/revenue/leads/whatever left right and centre because you know that most of your competition are failures who only ever want to put the minimum amount of effort in. They only want easy this, easy that, quick buck there, I'll try it tomorrow...

    Great job OP!

    I completely agree with you that people are giving up to quickly. Also, they tend to focus on the wrong thing.

    IM is a huge field and the competition is fierce. Hence, my strategy is to become an expert within one field and then try to improve my skills within that field all the time.

    So, what is the first step to know what you should work with?

    I think you have should sit down and analyze what your strengths and weaknesses are. Put it down on paper.

    For example, I know this about myself.

    Pros:

    * Decent at SEO
    * Decent writer
    * Love new products
    * Dedicated as hell
    * People tend to find me thrustworthy, polite and nice to deal with (which I do believe I am).

    Cons:

    * Can´t code (and I am completely uninterested to learn)
    * Can´t do webdesign (and I am completely uniterested to learn)
    * Bad English grammar (English is not my first language)
    * Poor time management
    * Lazy when it come to things which I find boring.

    So.. what have I done with this information?

    Well, I love products so being an affiliate is a nice thing for me. I usually write reviews and then let someone who is fluent in English fix all the small grammar misstakes.

    As you can see I am obviously not an artistic person. Hence, I have purchased 3 advanced and beautiful WP-templates which I know inside out.

    If I need those tweaked, I have a guy helping me out with that.

    I have also written a guide for myself regarding what scripts and functions I should add to my sites. This took me quite some time and I am spending a couple of hours per week to revise this guide by reading here at BHW and by doing trial and error.

    When it come to videos, I bought Animoto to help me out with that.

    If I need testimonials or review videos with voice, I write the text myself and hire my favorite guy over at Fiverr to read it for me. He is an old radio speaker and really good at what he does. I always pay him double just to make sure he will put me first in line once I need something done.

    When doing affiliate stuff, I avoid all those CB-products and such since I want to have a close and intimate relationship with the developers of the products I am promoting.

    I also only promote products which I myself would buy and which I can really stand up for myself.

    Sometimes I feel that beginners seem to think that Black Hat SEO is about cheating people. Nothing could be more far away from the truth. Black Hat SEO is about finding ways to cheat Google, not your visitors.

    Hence, I stay away from spam methods and such. This is not due to moral (well, actually that´s part of it) but it is mainly since I don´t find it effective in the long run. I prefer passive income after I have done a project and this can rarely be achieved if you scam your visitors (and/or customers).

    That being said, I also work as a SEO-freelancer since I think that SEO is pretty darn fun. I learnt WH before I started to do BH since I do believe you have to know how to do things the "proper" way to know what shortcuts you can take.

    I once spoke to a carpenter who told me that only the best carpenters know how and when to cheat. When beginners try to do it, the results only get messy. I think the same thing can be said about SEO.

    So far, this approach has worked out pretty good for me, hence why I have that Donor thing next to my name ;)

    To sum it up, assess you strength and weaknesses, find something within IM which you think is fun and be a star within that field. If you do, the money will come to you naturally!

    Oh, and something else, always make sure you surround yourself with people who are better than you are.

    I work on a daily basis with a friend of mine (Ericsson, a member here which many of you might know) and we are constantly exchanging ideas and do JV´s together. Thanks to him, I learn tons of new stuff everyday and we help each other to keep up with the latest news within different fields.

    Make sure you also find someone who is good at what he/she does and have a close relationship with that person. Not only will you learn plenty, you can also motivate each other and make those tedious hours in front of the computer a bit more enjoyable (since we all from time to time have to do things which isn´t that fun).

    Best of luck 2 u all! :)

    Because I took all the money I made in the last 6 months from those methods and invested it in a SEO and Web design business.Which is what I am doing now.moving on to bigger things.All I am saying is Different strokes for different folks.There are some very easy methods which are not used correctly and then they say it does not work.thats not true.it must done the right way.But OP if thats what you did and it worked great.cheers to your success.
