    Hello,

5 days ago I started to do some ads on my GFS account. (new ads fb accs have cheaper rates for adveritising it seems)

I setup my 2 campaigns and turned both off after 2 days because the results with the traffic were not good.

Today I dont know for what Reason....had one more look into the FB ADS MANAGER and guess what ?? Both of the campaigns were with ACTIVE STATUS even tough the CHECKMARK for ON/OFF campaign was set to OFF. During the 3 days with my campaigns set to OFF , facebook "ate" my campaigns money.

I tried to delete the campains...and couldnt...tried to Turn them ON and OFF again....didnt work .

I finnaly managed to erase the campains after few minutes .....

Why I post this.....be very carefull and look for your OFF ads . This didnt happend to my old account ....but facebook decided probably to make me a fucking surprise...

You're saying FB went into your account, reactivated your campaigns without your permission?

I didnt say FB Reactivated my Campains.... I say that I switched my campaigns from On to OFF ... and in the Delivery Status it still was showing active instead of INACTIVE. Maybe it was an error or whatever.... But this isnt good

Are you saying more budget was spent after you turned the campaign off?

"Add budget to boost this post for one more day."
I added $5 and clicked ok. It spent $17.38 :):):)

I paused an ad a few months back when it didn't give any results after $10. I clearly clicked "PAUSE", and it said "paused" next to it. It kept going over the weekend without me having any clue. :):):)

    I love Facebook, it's so great. :):):)

Oh well, still works well with Shopify products so I guess I'm bound to FB for a while longer.

Nowadays I always turn everything off in Campains, Ad & Ad Sets - All 3, or you will get your butthole fingered. And of course their help/support is absolutely trash too.

I had the same issue last week. I made new ad with 50$ daily budget. After 2 days I found that ad is not quite good, so I stopped the ad, campaind and ad SET. After 3 days I went to my add account and there it was, all ads were active.

Facebook LOVES to put their D in our A's.. Thrusting and busting away without Vaseline. Wouldn't surprise me if they run their servers on baby souls & molested puppies.

This is impossible.. Seems you had an extra peg of whisky when you turned off campaigns

    Just kidding.
But it will never reactivate your ads.. I have been using fb ads for more than 2 years now

I wouldn't be so sure about that, if it was only OP reporting the issue then it could be a one-off freak occurrence, but looks like quite a few people have had the same issue.

    thats not the worst scenario

for me they suddenly banned my ads acc , that was running highly legit whitehat stuff
when i contacted them in chat after 1 week, they quickly re-activated it and pretended that it was active:
"Please check your FB Ads Manager - it seems all is ok, isn't it?"
