For those of you who are using public proxies, be very careful. Public anonymous proxies sometimes switch and reveal your ip address which becomes a security issue after a while.

Here is a little experiment.

For those of you who have scrape box, do this:

1. Gather proxies using scrape box and do the anonymity check. Only use proxies that pass as anonymous.

2. Since most of you have scrape box running for a few hours before a blast is completed, do your regular routine of a blast.

3. After a few hours, you will notice that some of the very same ips that passed earlier as private anonymous proxies now switch and start revealing your ips.

4. To determine this, import the same proxies in bookmarking demon (or any proxy checking software) and do a connection test of the proxies. You will now notice that the very same list that you started with a few hours ago that WAS anonymous will show up in bookmarking demon as now revealing your real ips.

You can also recheck the same ips in scrapebox if you want. It will still show similar results.

If you are going to be using public proxies:

1. Use a VPN
2. Make sure all your tcp and internet data uses that connection for all softwares.
3. If the proxies stop working as anonymous, it will only reveal the ip address of the vpn and not your real ip address.

The only down fall in doing it this way is SPEED. Things will be much slower, but more safe for you.

For more advanced protection, you can use a router to server vpn. With this way, instead of relying on your computer's software alone, you can have the router connect directly to the vpn provider's server. This way your entire network will flow over the vpn connection.

buy one private proxy. run all your connections through it. open scrapebox, get public proxies, run with it.

cheaper then a VPN and equally as effective, usually without the speed issues of an over-crowded vpn. done and done.

Wow I didnt know about this :/

Any other solutions easier than the vps?

How do we connect only scrapebox through that private proxy?

Look around at different VPN services. My vpn service is as fast as not using it.

I respect your response, however you are a little wrong.

If you understand about networking, proxies are never as effective as vpn's.

Also, there are some softwares that you have to tell to do a proxy connection.

VPN to proxy is the way to go for a real good security, NOT proxy to proxy.

Some proxies can be broken through even by the ISP's. Sometimes even the proxy software crash while in use. Thus, this is a why router to server vpn is the way to go.

A next thing to take into consideration is FLASH. Sometimes it leaks out info with using proxies. Even java and active x scripts..

With all that said, I respect your answer. :)

Yeah but i don't know if scrapebox proxy tester is ok, cos i test the proxies which pass the ip test, i then use them in browser but when i visit check my ip in google some of the sites are not able to detect my ip but one does? Is it safe and how does one site detect my ip when others don't, go search my ip in google and in whatismyipaddress it will show proxy and in cmyip it will show real and only with some proxies it shows proxies, maybe this is L1 L2 thing?

SERIOUSLY? i wasnt aware. Im going to use vpn to proxies

Thanks for pointing that out, I did observe that google blocking my IP while using scrapebox. BTW, i remember seeing a thread of using a VPS for a proxy anybody know where i can find that info
