blackhatter99 (Shaggy on Yahoo Messenger) contacted me via PM about an eBay JV selling workout DVD's back in February. We worked out the details, and it all looked good.

Made my first sale $140 USD, and the eBay user paid as they should. I assumed the item had been shipped, but about 2 weeks after the auction, the eBay user contacted me to say they haven't received the item.

I then contacted blackhatter99 about this and he said he had shipped it and it should have arrived by now. Waited another week, and the customer is starting to get a bit upset by now. Contacted blackhatter99 again, this time he says it must have been lost and he'll ship out another item to the user, and this time give me the tracking number. This time I though - no worries, it's all good.

Another 2 weeks go by. User now opens an eBay compaint as it's now been 1 month since they paid for the product. Check the tracking number, still says "Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received" which means they they have been notified that something will be posted soon, but haven't received it yet.

So now I'm certain I've been scammed. I refunded the user $140 USD so my eBay account doesn't get banned. I am now out of pocket for $130 as I forwarded the payment to blackhatter99 minus my $10 fee for listing the item.

Just in case you're interested, go to USPS Track and Trace - http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm and enter in the tracking number blackhatter99 gave me - 9405 5036 9930 0183 3536 02.

You'll see it's still saying Electronic Shipping info received, which was the status of the supposed 2nd shipment on the 24th March.

I worked with him for quite a while and didn't have any issues in that regard, out of the 20 odd sales I did for him there was one lost order but the tracking confirmed USPS had lost it and the item got delivered about a month later.

The only think I can suggest is that you get tracking details upfront and send them to the buyer when the item ships, stops alot of questions.

I would still be selling for him now but I've had some personal stuff happening and I haven't been online much. The only issue I had was the quality of the dvd's had quite a few people asking for refunds because they didn't work (not shaggy's fault though)

If you are going to take this sort of risk then you shouldn't be posting shitlist threads about it when you get burned. It is too easy to get scammed this way

Says the guy who joined in January and has 200+ posts.

Maybe you should just stay on topic and not concern yourself with what nufaman does. Seriously, how much effort did you just put into that?

    Go make money, quit crying.

When reading that someone is selling dvds at ebay I always wondering if you guys are from a country where copyright infringements arent a problem or if you can hide your traces. I mean getting caught for selling copyrighted material can lead to being real hurt. And no one thinks these dvds are originials dont you?

So I hope you guys know what you do.
