It was good but I don't think it was worth the wait (2 hours in line and then another 2 1/2 hours to watch the movie), my ass hurt so bad when I left.

I thought it was ok too, I saw it on Friday early afternoon. I don't know where you guys are but I had no wait time at all, I'm near Los Angeles. I bought my tickets about 45 minutes before the start of the movie, went to the book store next door the theater to kill time then entered 10 minutes before start time without a wait. I agree with brent, it was a long movie but worth it.

People who pay $100 for a ticket are stupid, doesn't make any sense.

I saw it last night with a few friends who are fanatics. They thought it was pretty good. If you're not a die hard fan (I'm not) you might find the movie to be about 45 minutes too long. It could easily have been trimmed down with no loss to the plot.

I went to see it early Friday afternoon, no trouble with tickets or seats. My kids and I got there about 20 minutes before it started, nobody in line for tickets and there were only about 5 people in the theater when we got there, probably 100 showed up after us, theater was only about 20% full. Our local theater was showing it on 4 screens starting every half hour.

Good story, Heath was GREAT, the Joker character was great. There were a couple of morality speeches that they could have done without. I don't know if Batman is talking with such a "throaty" voice to disguise his voice but it gets a little overdone.

It was almost 3 hours when you include all the previews, so go to the bathroom first. Didn't see it in IMAX but I'm sure that would be great.

I would recommend to everyone, but I liked the first one better.

I saw it yesterday early afternoon. I thought it was great. I didn't even realize how long the movie was until it was over and I looked at my watch. My girlfriend, who pretty much hates every movie that I like, walked out saying she loved it, which is more than strange to hear! lol

I don't think watching this movie on a grainy bootleg can compare to IMAX. The problem I have watching a movie when you know it is going to be good, is that sometimes it can get ruined when watching it on bootleg. For example, in the dark scenes I will miss have the things going on. Then I will say to everyone that movie was sh*t, but it was really good, its just that my copy sucked! lol

Yeah, some theater bootleg formats are better than others, but nothing compares to a rip or full (for home viewing).

Is the Joker in the whole movie or does he die/disappear at some point? I never really knew if Heath Ledger died before shooting was finished or what.

I thought it was a very very good movie. Heath Ledger did an incredible performance, sad that it was his last. I loved the movie.

Yeah apparently they are considering giving Heath Ledger an oscar for his performance in this film so it must have been an exceptional act on his behalf.

It was fun and watchable. No one should get an oscar for it. It's a comic book story. If he gets nominated its because he's dead. He overacted a lot of it, the ending dialogue is pure comic book hokyness and every time douche-boy (can't remember his name but the guy who plays Batman) talks as batman in his "I'm such a tough guy" scratchy low husky voice, I wanted to gouge out my colon with an angry live rat.

In other words, it's o.k. Go see it. Spend the $9 you cheap fuckers. But don't expect miracles.

I saw it on IMAX on friday at noon.

Good movie but not incredible. It lacked continuity. The story jumped around too much and was too long. My friend thought they might have added more Keith Ledger back into the movie in the post-production phase.

I would see it just for the joker performance but I was somewhat disappointed by the movie overall.

I will have to go watch 300 to feel good again...:D

Agreed, I think Batman is cool and all, but I'm not any die-hard fan. I'm not really into a lot of the new super hero movies.
