Making a list. Please let me know if it's accurate and what should be added and taken away.

    1) Scrapebox
    2) SeNuke
    3) Either an article spinner like WordAI / TBS or access to a good/fast/cheap article writer
    4) Traffic Travis or another Serp monitoring / research program
    5) SEO Wordpress plugins (if you use Wordpress) as well as traffic monitoring plugin like Statpress / SlimStat
    6) Google Adwords account
    7) Multiple lists of Social Media sites, Web 2.0 Blogs, Social Bookmarks

Then make your own list --- SEO is such a "loose" term now that I guess it depends on what you believe SEO is and what you are trying to rank.

If you are trying to target mega sites -- then tools are a start but you better find some budget.

If you are talking about making a living selling SEO?

Figure out how to do a few niche things well and for a good price and start marketing them and then grow.
    or
resell a bunch of stuff you know works for a premium and market it to businesses etc...

    Tools for me...
    link builders - knowledge - and bst's...

Thanks. I personally am trying to focus on local SEO to start. Pairing keywords with locations makes things a little bit easier for me and I don't want to take on too much at first. And don't worry I won't be using Scrapebox and all that mass spamming crap for local businesses.

You might also want GSA captcha breaker. It is a great software if you use automated link building software. Will save you tons of captcha services. Use it for SEnuke, MagicSubmitter, SickSubmitter and all tools that converts each captcha image to JPG, etc.

The list looks great but do you know how to use all of them? If yes, that's great.

But if the answer is no, then try purchasing one at a time and then learning how to use it.
