BANS Hosted Solution

I'm not too familiar with the BANS webpages that you guys talk about other than phpbay or what ever it is that you guys use. But I have a website solution built into my control panel that I use for other marketing tactics that I use as a method to "mask" activities. If there is a need, or a market, I would like to build something for you guys to use and help develop that you might not be getting in the other ones you guys are using. This would be a beginner / intermediate solution. Advanced guys would probably want to use something else if unless other things are requested that I could build in for you.

Please let me know. I can give demo accounts to show what the sites look like right now and how they function. There are also other ideas I would like to build into the CPanel that I'd like to discuss with someone.

So uh... what does it do? Mass site installer? Traffic bouncer? Stats central?

Makes it easy to build pages. I can do a mass site installer with just a list of domains and some criteria that you specify. As far as stats are concerned, if I knew what kind of stats you wanted, then yes, I could build and then centralize all the stats. The current stats I use are custom built to what I need them for, but they could be replicated.

The rss gr0und service that I mentioned in the thread, can probably be used for BANS and also for people who use phpbay and even for folks who are just generally doing affiliate marketing.

The alternative that I'm hoping to see should best be a script that you can just buy and pay one time, rather than it being a monthly-pay subscription service. Aside from having the fees eat into your profits, what I don't like about it is that the rss feeds are stored on their servers. Worse case scenario: they go out of business and the feed content that you've placed in your 101 websites immediately disappear.

Please take a look when you get a chance and share your thoughts, ok?

As far as doing something like this as a stand alone, I'm not as interested in doing that as I am in doing something that's hosted. Maybe at some point in time, I could put something together like that. Providing support for something I host versus something that someone is expected to setup on their own would require a different type of support, plus different types of security measures to make sure the code wasn't put on blast all over the net.

What might be helpful to all is perhaps to allow us to "peep" (e.g. screen captures of your system, narrated video etc.) into what you already have set up.

Perhaps, then the big boys and more experience players might have more practical ideas on what could add value to your existing system?

Errr... no disrespect intended, but just to comment about my concern regarding hosted systems: I feel that they usually require recurrent payments and unless the cost is pretty reasonable, it really bleeds money from newbies (myself included)

In regards to your dilema with the monthly charge, depending on what went into the system and how much I had to offer you guys would justify the monthly cost. I'm not looking to rape people, but I'm for sure not looking to give out freebies on something that potentially could be a gold mine to someone. I would also consider different tiers of services. In a nut shell, the rate would be reasonable.

In regards to reliability, I've done hosting for the last 7 years and have had a solid reputation locally with my clients. I'm looking to expand on other services and ideas, and I don't do things without considering the long term goal.

I can do screenshots or even give demo accounts. Either way, it doesn't matter to me.
