Do the rules about sharing members products still apply once they have been banned forever?

Out of respect I don't think you should share their products. Just my opinion.

I don't think you should either out of respect even though they are not here on the forum

I wouldn't want no one to share my products if I was banned

I'm torn... I kind of agree with theadultsplayground, but in a previous profession we used to tell each other "If you die, we're divvy'n up your gear!" HAH!

It's usually open season on them but I guess it depends on what you think of the banned member. Up to you really.

I just wish the guy who's book I just accidentally jacked would let me pay him for it. lol.

I would say that is your call, Tech. they are banned and not a member. However some banned members esp. ones who had a lot of friends still stay in touch with those ppl and they will most likely be told whats up. So that would be at your own risk I would think.

I guess to expand on this would be if the member that sold the product is going to still provide support for it or leave everyone hanging because they got banned.

If it is STILL on the banned list probably best not sharing would be smart as they may return here someday and be upset and unless it is removed from the list you would technically be rule breaking.
    just my 5 1/2 cents

I think if the member is permanently banned, they're technically no longer a member so I believe their products, etc. are up for grabs yes.

From my knowledge, we only protect members here. Perma ban = membership bye bye

Even in the case that this is allowed I think it should be Jr VIP only or even a higher level as I wouldn't want the public getting their hands on some of the products for sale that others have spent their hard-earned money on.

Wow - the carcass is still fresh and the buzzards are already picking at it. Even if a person is banned, shouldn't they be accorded a little respect? There's plenty of stuff out there without having to eat our own. JMHO.

yah I have spent good money on stuff here and just because the seller was out of line, and still supports the product, I dont think theres any way why it should be shared here.

That would de-value the products very fast and make them possibly to shared, so noobs on DP would start getting them or rebranding and reselling our stuff.

    Its not your call.
If its on the Do Not Share list then its on the list. We regularly keep it updated so its not up to you to decide "well - its on the list but they are banned so i'm gonna share it anyways." That reasoning won't fly. Sorry.

I guess most of you guys need to re-read the rules in the download section.

this is one part of it:
Its a sticky in the download section.

I think that it's not proper etiquette to share stuff made by forum members. Even if they're banned. Like edc said: There's plenty of stuff out there without having to eat our own.
