I was banned from Google Adwords over a year ago, banned from AdSense about 2 1/2 years ago.

Could everyone please post ALL of the ways that Google can conceivable track you in this thread?

I'll soon be moving so will have new address, new IP, etc and want to make a fresh start. However, I know that I need to make sure that I have ALL of my angles covered in order to beat the big G.

---Edit Note----
I have no intentions/desire to get back into AdSense, I just want to be sure that when I get back into AdWords that my account will be active and in good standing. Google is very stealth about this. They won't actually close your accounts when you get banned (or, at least they didn't to me) so that you'll THINK you're still active. Very ninja like of them, I must admit and give props.

All the same...F the big G! I want back in...please tell me how.

Banned from Adwords? Didnt think that was possible....Unless you didnt pay them! haha

You cant beat Google.

Adsense is pretty hard to get back into.

They do have an appeal form. It has been know to people to appeal (basically appologising, relising what you did wrong and how you will fix it) and get back in. But its still very slim.

Unless you get a whole new identity, bank account, address etc etc they will find out.

You might want to use your friend or family but after a while it will get pretty annoying not having it in your name...but if you want to do it that way you can.

Get a windows VPS server, create a new corporation (easy if in the USA) and there is a guy here who will help you out with the company setup and bank account and mailing address. Check the business and tax advice forum.

re-register with google on the VPS and only ever access your account from there.

I am assuming you are going to be making 'real' money, otherwise this may seem like too much hassle.

Sure is. I'm living proof. I broke the TOS. I was bidding on trademarked keywords - fortune 500 companies like walmart, home depot, etc.

Adsense is pretty hard to get back into.

I have no desire to get back into AdSense...only AdWords.

Unless you get a whole new identity, bank account, address etc etc they will find out.

I'll be using my same name, but I will have a different address, different credit card for billing, different IP address, different phone number, I think that they probably have a pretty sophisticated algorithm for determining if you're the same person or not....however...I doubt that name alone would be enough to trip the alarm.

You might want to use your friend or family but after a while it will get pretty annoying not having it in your name...but if you want to do it that way you can.
That would make sense for adsense. After all, who would refuse when you say "I want to deposit money into your bank account." However, since I'm talking about AdWords, everyone would laugh at me if I was like "Give me your credit/debit card and I'm going to run up a bill on it. I'll pay ya back I swear."

Is a VPS server a way to hide your identity or make it look like you live somewhere other than you actually do? I don't know what that is.

I appreciate your suggestion, as that I imagine most people wouldn't know how to do that. But I've been in business self-employed for years so I'm well versed in all of that.

. Yes, this is my career, not just some hobby or pipe dream. Having been banned from adwords, I've had to use other methods to get traffic. But I want to get back in because you cannot beat the instant traffic faucet that AdWords provides. It lets you test niches/business ideas fast vs. trying to SEO optimize something and then hope people like it when it does finally:rolleyes: show up in the serps...forget that.

If you use any of the same sites that got you banned (or were on the same server) that could flag your account for manual review and if they find a link then bye-bye again. My guess is you would have to go for a clean slate approach - new domains, hosting, address, credit card, etc.

Having said that, this is where you might trip up. Your new credit card would still be linked to your old address.

Yes, I will not promote any of the same sites or host any of the new sites that I would be promoting on the hosting package that I was using at the time I got banned. I'm aware of all of that stuff, but thanks for pointing it out anyway; sometimes the most obvious stuff is the stuff we forget. I'm fully aware that just one little slip is all it takes to get banned again.

When I register this time, and they validate the address associated with the credit card, it will not be the same address that my bank had on file back when I got banned (I will be moving to a different city in about a week) - so I think I'm covered on that. But if there's something I'm forgetting/neglecting let me know.

WHAT ABOUT MAC ADDRESS?

I will be using the same computer though that I used back when I got banned. Is there anyway for them to tell my mac address from my visiting their sites? Forgive me if this is a newb question and the answer is an obvious yes or an obvious no - I have no idea what information gets passed in the HTTP traffic header stuff.

A Virtual Private Server is like having your own remote windows PC that you can use to surf the internet, install programs on, pretty much anything.

You use it by doing a remote desktop connection to it, so in reality it can be anywhere in the world. Just make sure you rent one in the same country as you live.

Essentially it provides you with a complete new online identity.
