    Has anyone here ever been banned from Flippa? If so, for what reason.

    I didn't do anything, but by the looks of the kind of stuff going on at Flippa it seems like they are pretty unregulated and don't really care what people do as long as it isn't so blatant that they have to do something. I think right now they are just trying to make as much money as they can. It seems to be a scammers dream. I looked into it and noticed that it doesn't look like just about anybody has been banned opposed to ebay's policy of ban a few hundred people a day even if they are power sellers.

    I was just curious if anyone has ever had any disciplinary actions from Flippa, but from what I can see I don't think so.

    The place is useless to be honest, or if it isn't yet it's going to be soon. Without regulation it will go the way of all the other sites, and another one will pop up to takes its place. If it seems unregulated, though, you may as well exploit it while it's still popular.

    @OP:

    Doing business on Flippa regularly, I can confirm that there's loads of people getting banned every day. However - those who get banned seem to be people who others have reported, and reporting usually happens only if someone is 'clever' enough to send PM spam or post comments that have nothing to do with the listings.

    My personal opinion is that at least 50% of the listings on Flippa are 'shady' on one way or another - but I don't complain as it's our job to use the soft policies to our advantage ;)

    @dnreg:

    Bless you and your opinion. One competitor less for me.
