    Hello BHW-

My advertising capabilities on FB were banned the other night. I had recently begun advertising on FB through my personal account that I have had for years. I'm obviously disappointed, but extremely driven to get back up and running again! Its insane to me how FB can take-in such vast sums of money, literally one of the richest companies out there, but provides absolutely terrible customer service, and zero phone help. Also wild how they just ban people like crazy with zero regard for the fact that they could be making mistakes. I really had the best intentions with what I was doing. I was working the teespring angle. Is FB cracking down on the influx of direct targeted tee campaigns?

Here is the automated email I got-

Your Facebook Ads account has been disabled. All of your ads have been suspended and should not be run again on Facebook under any circumstances.
We typically disable an account if too many of its ads violate our TOS or Advertising Guidelines.
Unfortunately, your Facebook Ads account will not be reactivated and you will be unable to continue advertising on Facebook.
    We appreciate your understanding.

To which I of course replied and laid out my case neatly and concise, and they responded with this lovely gem:

Facebook is committed to presenting ads to our users that are useful and non-intrusive, and we are continually working to increase the relevance of ads. Our goal is to provide the highest quality user experience. We reserve the right to reject any advertising that we deem contrary to these objectives. Similarly, we reserve the right to close an account creating ads contrary to these objectives.

For this reason, if any of your ads have been removed or your ad account has been disabled, we will be unable to reactivate either. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please consider this decision final.

    Thanks for your understanding,

I am not sure exactly why I was banned. I was however using a scraper (FBGraph Scraper, and SLF), and I had made several custom audiences that were revoked as they targeted names. Ultimately I am confused, because there are people killing it right now targeting names, and they have been operating consistently for a long time. How are they doing it? Also, they must be aware that ALL serious advertisers within their network are using scrapers.

My main question is this -

What do I need to do exactly to get back up and rolling with Facebook ads ASAP?

    I have several questions.

I have found that there are people on this forum selling aged FB Ad Accounts. Is this the best option for me? Would I still need to go through a Socks5 Proxy to change my IP?

I am not well versed in the proxy realm, this is something that I need to research, but I read a Socks5 is much better than a VPN.. I additionally read that the proxy must be in my city. Where is the best place to buy a proxy, and is there anyone or business that provides guidance in getting this all set up correctly? Is the proxy/IP change necessary?

Also, believe I need to change my payment options. I feel like I have read that Facebook will accept ad payments via the prepaid cc's? Or whatever those are, not 100% familiar, another realm I must look into more in-depth. That would be easier than changing bank account/PayPal of course. But if that's what I need to do, that's what I will have to do.

If someone would simply lay out exactly the steps I need to take, I would really appreciate it.

I am simply unclear if I bought an existing ad account from someone on here, would I have to still change my IP? I would believe I would.

Where that angle gets difficult for me is considering that people get banned while on Starbucks wifi, obviously FB cannot ban the Starbucks IP.. But perhaps they ban my mac address? Does anyone know the protocol happening over at FB-HQ, or have a loose idea?

Would Tor for Facebook ads work? I cannot imagine so.. but just a question.. Or what about hidemyass.. Another option I dont believe would work.

Do advise. I am open to all ideas.

    You guys are awesome.

your asking for a million dollar answer and people who figured it out will not just post good information on how to get ads account on a public forum. only way to do it is start creating accounts, testing different payment methods, see what works.

i havent seen any good information posted on this forum regarding fb ads account. everything that has been posted so far can be found out with a day of testing. test for a month and im sure youll have a method ;)

Depends on the amount of spending you're doing
If you only want to spend up to $25 a day you can buy any aged Fb account and then buy proxies to use it, you can pay by paypal or prepaid acc, or just get a new one
If you want to spend more, you can buy a Facebook ads account, you can send me a PM regarding that
I'm guessing you're advertising in the Health Products niche since facebook will usually ban those

Hey guys, appreciate for the responses!

I'd love to PM you but my account is too new. Do you have a skype by chance, or any form of contact?

Also is anyone a proxy master who could help me with the implementation of a proxy? I dont know too much about proxies..I mean, I know Tor of course, but getting a private proxy, that i dont know.

Also, I Found this here on BHW-- Curious your thoughts, is all this necessary---

Having worked on internet projects where my job was to outsmart the tricky user so to speak, I'm pretty sure Facebook is tracking anything they can and than match whatever they track to their database, and if there is a positive match, their system will show a red flag and they they will either continue to monitor you for more positive matches and than ban you, or ban you right away if they are confident that you are the same person! So in a nutshell, you should not give Facebook any hint whatsoever that you are the same person that was banned!

Here are the steps I plan on taking and suggest you do the same, and I'm confident that we will run FB ads again in no time!

    1. Get a new credit card number. This can be done in a number of ways, you can either open a new bank account and get a new debit card, you can tell your current bank that you lost your current card and they will issue you a new one with a new number and expiration date on it, or you can simply get one of those re-loadable debit cards from GreenDot, etc. It would be a good idea if you could simply ask one of your friends to open an account on their name just for you to use for FB advertising, but that can be a hassle and it's always better to do everything in your own name obviously. Since Facebook doesn't ask you for your social security number, etc., they have no way of telling if you're the same person that was banned because you just might have the same name and last name so having the same name should not be a problem as long as Facebook doesn't have any other positive matches that will link you to your old account... oh and one more thing, before getting a new card, don't forget to change the billing address (ask your friends to use theirs or rent a P.O. Box although I'm not sure if P.O. Box addresses are accepted)

    2. Open a new Facebook account from a different IP, but make sure that this IP address is based in the same city as your new billing address because this is probably one of the first things Facebook checks! Before creating a new account, obviously delete all the cookies, cache, etc., from your computer by using a program such as cccleaner as suggested by "toyo" and if you can, I would recommend formatting your hard drive and doing a fresh OS install.

Make sure that you will never login into your new account from your old IP address because that will be a virtual suicide.

    3. Do NOT upload a picture or pictures of yourself on your new account because FB probably has face-matching software that runs all uploaded pics against their database of banned users.

    4. Do NOT use the same images, copy, pages, links, etc., that you used in your old ads, because Facebook is most probably tracking all of this and if they see a positive match, they will know that it's you. Create everything from scratch.

    5. Try to change your ad posting times, frequency, style, etc., because I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook has the software in place that track this as well...

    6. Don't spend all of $50 on the first day, instead fool Facebook into thinking that you're a new advertiser who is just testing the system out little by little... spend $10 on the first day, $10 on the second, $15 on the third, etc., be patient. Think about it, if you're a new advertiser but start to aggressively push ads and promote offers, Facebook will know that something doesn't smell right because the majority of advertisers who never had experience with Facebook ads before will certainly want to take it very slow in the beginning... don't give Facebook a hint that you've done this before and know what you're doing!

    7. Intentionally go to their help section and read their advertising guidelines, policies, etc, because I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook is tracking whether first-time ads users do this or not. If they do, you will certainly fool Facebook into thinking that you're truly a new advertiser because advertisers who've advertised on FB before will never visit those sections... also intentionally click on all the links, buttons, etc., within the FB ads manager, to make an impression that you are learning the system... again, I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook is tracking this because in their mind, something like this will go a long way in telling them if a person is a newbie or not...

    8. All in all, behave like a completely different person (especially in the first few weeks), and don't give Facebook any hints whatsoever that you are the same person... on the contrary, show them that you've never used Facebook before, never used Facebook ads before, etc., you get the point!

If anybody from Facebook will be reading this - Hi, how are you?!

Let me know how it works out for you guys and I'm pretty sure that if you follow these steps + use a dose of common sense, you will be back advertising on Facebook in no time!

    ------

Let me know your thoughts! Also a skype id, or something similar!

Seems like pretty solid method for opening a new account, but wonder if it still applies today. I hear FB is getting harder.
