Hello, for the past couple month I was making a killing on ebay, but all of a sudden today I get an email saying my account has been suspended. I'm ASSUMING it's because I listed my Windows 8.1 for sale which I didn't need. (Only selling key, not box.) Not sure if thats the reason I got banned or not, because I've been making money selling other software product codes for the past week and made 60 bucks within the week. Tried talking to customer service she says I am no longer able to open an account or sell on ebay. She didn't say I could ever fix what I did wrong, she just said she can't tell me the exact reason and that its for the well being of the buyers and community. What did i do wrong? Is it cause I kept re-listing items after they sold to sell product keys? Is it cause I listed windows 8.1? Is it cause I listed more than one item at a time in different categories?

And, what do I do now? Will Amazon ban me too if I try to sell product keys on there? Should I get a stealth account? Please help, as 90% percent of my income was from ebay, and now its just...gone! Halted!

Of course amazon will also kick your account mate.. Do not sell on ebay, amazon, facebook that any keys that has a brand name and large corporation like Microsoft.. Use our common sense mate, it's owned by the largest corporation and you tried to sell it on the one of the most biggest marketplace like ebay?

I was also selling Antivirus keys. Like AVG and bit-defender. Is that not allowed either?

Man your first mistake was selling windows lol and on ebay for that ... stay away from name brand reselling unless you have permission by the brand.

Very simple, just check is there any other reputable sellers selling the same thing. If many people selling, you should be fine. If you are the only one, then you know the answer.

That is the worst advice ever. Just because other people sell stuff does not mean you can too. Please don't run an EB business with that mentality.

I assume you listed the auction on USA-ebay? They strictly forbid selling ONLY keys.
