After buying Twitter followers, my 2 Twitter accounts were Banned/"Filtered Out" of Twitter Search

Has this happened to anyone else?
Is there a way to get this resolved?

    Thanks.

Twitter would never do that. Someone could just buy Twitter followers for X and X's account would not be shown on the search when X he has done nothing wrong.

actually twitter does do it. They have a special algorithm for it. I think it depends on the ratio and quality of the fake followers, but I can definitely confirm that this does happens! It happen on my brand new account with 80-90% fake followers. Older aged account are not affected.

I can't say I've ever seen this happen.

Wasn't it only a few weeks ago that news broke that a large portion of Justin Bieber's followers were fake?

That little bastard comes up everywhere on Twitter...
