Entropay allows me to do business with my name somewhat hidden (initials or fake name) from the people I buy from and sell to. Given that there are some seedy characters in the industry, I'd like to be able to take direct deposit payments from people who do not know my real identity.

Does some service like this exist? If not, are there any options (overseas?) that aren't going to cut into my profits to an annoying degree?

If by direct deposit payments you mean deposits / wires to your bank account then no.

Transfers between bank accounts always require both the payer's and the payee's name to be present - and if the payee's name doesn't match what the bank has in their records then the transfer will be rejected and will bounce back to the payer's account.

This is so for all EU banks, as well for international SWIFT wires. I'm not 100% sure about US/Canada but as far as I know it's not very different over there.

If possible with your clients, make them pay in Liberty Reserve.
