I cannot figure this out and its really bothering me. No matter what I do, I seem to only be able to get a max of 25% approval rate when posting comments on fast poster with scrapebox.

I have 20 private proxies, i know people that have used same proxy company and they work very well for them.

my timeout is set at 90

I have tried everything from 20-300 connections, makes about 10% difference between both extremes.

Ive tried paid lists, shitty free list, etc

    still only getting around 25%.

The reason I got scrapebox was to promote my own website but mainly I wanted to sell the posting service.

right now that basically impossible because it takes around an hour to post 1000 comments. any idea what I can do to increase success?

the only reason is AKISMET. it bans your IP after about 100 comments coming from the same IP withing 30minutes to 1 hour. it also bans your domain forever not only unless your request from the akismet website to unban your site.

I think Akismet only accounts for about 20% of Wordpress blogs - even if you used 20 private proxies, the chances are your domain will be banned anyway, so I just use a static IP - have been doing for about 3 weeks and not noticed any difference in the amount of links that 'stick'.

Of course there are other blogs which aren't used via Wordpress too.

Hey I thought that akismet comment was bullshit till I thought about it...

Here's something to try. I noticed I get like 60-70% signups on blogs I scrape within the past 24hours from G doing the 'time span' search.

I was so pleased when I 1st realized this however when I checked most of them aren't AA so I wasn't that thrilled after.

Still interesting to know. To go back to the akismet thing maybe it's because they don't have akismet on those new ones yet or maybe it's some other reason but I do know I get blazing sign ups from those.

I would have kept it quiet except I don't see much use in it if they aren't AA.

How many viagra spam emails do you read?
How many spam comments in your own blogs do you approve?
People with blogs arent all stupid and they in 99% of the cases will see the comment isnt related to the article at all and was done automatically especially with a strange backlink. Try change your offer that you want to sell.
What people really want to buy on fiverr is Senuke Campaigns , not blog spam.

That's why if you're doing a fresh harvest you scrape keywords on a specific subject and make those comments relative.

However, I prefer going down 2 routes: The first is finding AA blogs. The second is finding high PR, low OBL, which are not 'no follow' and post to them manually.

So I have 2 lists: AA Master List + Manual Master List.

But what I say above is a 3rd option: To scrape blogs on a subject, for example, Ryan Giggs, and post to your youtube video on him scoring some great goals. Your blog comment could be something like:
"Regardless of the bad press about him recently you can't knock him for his ability on the pitch - see some his goals at the link above".

You get the idea - you'll get a much, MUCH higher accepted comment rate rather than posting very bland, broad comments which unless the moderator is in a hurry, will see it as spam straight away and bin it.

AA lists are rally screwing my head up in terms of keeping them together. I try but there are so many diff files I find it hard to keep track- initial scraped, link extracted, backlink checked, split lists as most go over 1mil, then there is links checked and keeping track of which you did when as you have to compare and don;t want dupes.

I'm actually starting to wonder if it's worth it.

I know what you mean, I started going through my lists again (I have lot's of sites, so no problem here) and deleting them one by one and only keep found trackbacks, fastposts, edus, etc. After that I create elite lists with low obl and separate high PR lists. It gets better when you create a plan, but it's far from ideal.

Have you checked your connection? I was having strange results and then found out my connection was crappy that day.

Also - if you share the computer with other tasks - you may easily run our of cpu and ram power and that's asking for trouble. The only solution is to reboot and remove unnecessary processes.

BTW - if you are after trackbacks - 20% success is great!

Oh ye i forgot to mention even in the scrapebox secrets book he said that 25% success is a decent rate which you should be happy with.

I never know what they mean.. 25% success which is displayed on SB after a run, or success meaning the link is found?

I'm doing a run right now and I have pretty much 50% success, but not done the link check yet. This is on an already established AA list.

One piece of advice is that when you're 'test blasting' link check the whole lot; not just the successful posts. This is because a lot of failed have actually been posted and a lot of posted won't be found. So if I'm doing a link blast to say 200,000 blogs. It might say I have 100,000 success, but I'll still link check the entire 200,000.
