    Hi fellow BHW'ers,

So three days ago I ordered some private proxies from instantproxies. My expereince? BAD, very bad. Most of them were offline and no support.

So this made me use the advice by Jacob King and the good reviews here on BHW world. It seemed that Squid Proxies was the choice to go and the price was very good with the BHW offer.

But when I'm trying to harvest URLS in scrapebox it gives a 302 error: IP BLOCKED. What's up here? I mean, these should be private, right? Also some are getting errors that they're being overloaded. I should be the only one using them. I'm getting a bit fed up with these BHW services. Is therre really noone who can deliver some quality? It seems everyone is making a buck here on the back of others.

Anyways I'm curious to your expereince with private proxies and in particular squid proxies. I cant even harvest URLs in scrapebox except from the AOL engine.

I use both Squid and Instant proxies and they are pretty solid as is their customer service.

Are you sure it is the proxies and not user error since you had issues with both?

Did you contact their support (both are pretty good there) and see if they could help you through the process?

I spend a fortune in proxies every month, enough to cover a luxury boat payment, and are fine with both of those companies, as well as a few others I use, for the proxies we get.

I use it for scrapebox and got 302 errors when using them to harvest urls through the Google Search engine. I looked up this error and it's saying IP blocked.

The private proxies are also not blacklisted.

Anyways it seems that Google blocked the "private" proxies. That's why I'm getting a 302 error and I tried alot of different stuff. It just looks like these private proxies arent as private as we might think. I'm wondering if anyone here is having the same expereince when ordering in smaller numbers.

I been a long time customer with squid proxies but lately a lot of their proxies have gotten extremely slow and sometimes fail to load. I put in a support ticket about it and they told me they could replace them but I have a need to use the same proxies every month. They could not help me with this even though I know someone is abusing the crap out of the blocks in question. To me it seems like they have simply started overselling their proxies to too many people which is a shame. They used to have a great service, now I am looking to go elsewhere.

I contacted instantproxies for a refund a few days ago and they are pretty quick to respond, go into your instantproxie account and check your support ticket it should have a reply, for some reason they dont email you when you get a reply.

Use these sites i use them both and work for me, they both sell single proxies so i would suggest trying both sites and see which one you like best.

Lol, your proxies are blocked we because you made too much connection to google in a short period of time.Basically, your proxies are getting a 302 redirect to their ipv4.google.com/weareMOFOS page and are giving your proxies CAPTCHAS.OR if you've been banned too much they simply block you by saying Your PC or network is sending automated queries and to protect themselves, GO F yourself.Use your proxy in browser and see which you get.Loopline got some decent vids explaining different kinds of google bansThey can also recognise your IPs if you use them to spam websites, where RECAPTCHA is present. They simply log your ip when you load a page with recaptcha. Goog is a big traffic leaker btw, with their FNG Recaptcha, see their privacy policy and terms outbound links on websites on recaptcha boxes. If they start recognising your proxies for spamming, they will make the recaptchas even more difficult or ban you from spamming sites altogether.

Well, let me make clear that I've never ever done a single harvest through the Google engine. Next to that I use scrapebox whitehat. I'm simpely using the page addon for the backlinks of 10 top competitors which are like 500 links. 25 private proxies I use there, so no. Didnt even have the chance to let them get banned. And I see someone else here is having the same issues who also made a purchase this week.

So to me it seems to be getting pretty clear that these guys are selling shared proxies and not private ones.

I'm not sure which service is to blame, but accounts keep getting checkpointed/phone verified requests.
But seeing this thread made me think that maybe the proxy provider is the problem.
For some very suss evidence, I found that my 'fresh' Ip had been used 17 days prior.
It was accessed on 21st of May. I didn't even have these proxies at the time.. Maybe acccounts have been oversold.

I have always found any proxies fail on google search. No matter how good they are.

I've had serious problems with instantproxies in the past. I had just ordered a few proxies, loaded the 1st proxie & only did maybe 4 google searches (in a 10 minute window) and google claimed that im doing automated seaches & blocked me from searching. I loaded a few other of those proxies, and got the same results. I contacted Instantproxies and told them "hey, something is really wrong, i cant even do a few searches with these, SWAP THESE PLZ". They swapped them, same results. I sent a ticket again, (and they usually do respond pretty quickly) and stated "that someone other than myself HAVE to have access to these same proxies because I sure as hell isn't using them in the manner google claims. They told me it was impossible for such, and then confirmed that the ones I had wasn't blacklisted, they even claimed that they haven't been used in quite some time, but long story short , I ended up swapping them about 4 times I think, then decided "F THIS", l'll find another provider, then on the last swap, everything was fine.

I was really happy I could actually complete 5 searches in a 10 minute time frame. Also, I just discovered that the private proxies do NOT conceal my ip from some sites, like priceline. Somehow priceline can see my real ip and give an Access Denied Please ensure this IP is set in your Authorized IP list "xx.xxx.xxx.xxx", Im extremely curious as to if priceline can do this with any proxies (or is it just limited to instantproxy proxies). I'd greatly appreciate if anyone mind giving it a shot.

1 other thing I forgot to mention, the MOST disappointing thing is that when I logged into my fb page, fb instantly locked my page and claimed that "you've never used this device before to login, please verify your account".
None of the proxies that I've had (5 batches) were ever safe to login to fb with (or create a new fb page with). So I've been trying to figure out which (inexpensive) proxies are SAFE for social media.

The proxies (when tested) shows very good times, half of them were under 70ms (the other half were 200-300ms which is fine because I actually do not use them, yet)
But in real world use, browsing/surfing the web, they're pretty Freakn slow, like 1-3 seconds slow. 1-3 seconds is irritating, but I try not to complain and consider that Im trading speed for privacy.
Other than that, I have not had any other issues, customer service is pretty good, timely & the proxies are inexpensive compared to others that I have seen.

Dude that is not a priceline thing, that is a you not activating your IP for your proxies.

I don't know about instantproxies but I know with squid proxies you need to go into your admin panel and authorize your IP address so that the proxies will allow you to connect. If you do not do this, or if your IP address changes, your proxies will cease to work.

You will have received an email stating this along with brief instructions.

If anyone is receiving a ban on searching after a few searches then chances are that you have not setup your proxies, I have it with my customers often asking why they are restricted on searching when they are using proxies and it is often because the proxies are not entered correctly or not actually being used at all.
