    Hello,

Would anyone know where one could get a ton of bad neighborhood backlinks? 500, 10,000, 20,000 or more?

We're running an experiment for the beginning of next month on a site that we've had for several years. It's in good standing with the SE's and want to funnel as much bad junk to it and track its SERP decline from Feb-June.

We want as many bad neighborhood links as possible and try to have them turn up as soon as possible.

We are trying to see how fast we can kill our test site, which now is in good standing with G, Y and MSN. I was hoping to somehow get a ton of links from viagra, cialis kind of areas, but not sure how to get them.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Tanks!

use scrapebox to find find viagra stuff, maybe use its built in malware checker and "save bad URLS to file" then use that list in a blast.

But what will you do when your competitor's website comes back stronger than ever a couple of months later?. Oh, wait, it's your established reputed site you want to risk for the sake of experimenting. That changes everything, good luck :).

Why on earth someone will need to destroy their SERPs if site is doing great and ranking well on G, Y and MSN?

Smells like someone is trying to blast competitors with bad links. Just don't do this.

I don't think that viagra, cialis and other overused and shady links in the PPC ( Porn, Pills, Casino) class are going to have a positive effect on our blog... which is what we are shooting for if we can get them up for release as soon as possible.

There is alot of heresy concerning links, link quality, bad neighborhoods, good neighborhoods, gradual link release time and so on. This will be to determine some kind of indication of what I would call a solid and flagrant violation of TOS, which would merit a swift penalty.

It's called an experiment to figure out if the bad neighborhood links actually are a ranking factor.

Exactly - but also to better understand the alleged "bad neighborhood".

One side of the fence says...
"We're targeting sales for XXXX, so we get links for and from XXXX related sites."

Another side of the fence says...
"Well, that XXXX is a bad neighborhood. Doing that will kill your site."

Another side of the fence will say...
"What will you do when those XXXX links actually work, and you begin to rank higher???"

    Then someone will say...
"It will rank you well, but only for a short time, then you will drop"

    And again...
"Oh! It will kill your site quick - don't do it"

So therein lies the experiment of our blog; the quick successful, possible short lived SERP increase or miserable demise of our blog obviously violation G's TOS either way.

Nice, you took the time to edit out the second part, but left the emoticon that goes at the bottom.

Did you even read the whole paragraph?. Not that I expect you to decypher the complex sarcasm formula I used there or anything. I particularly loved your choice of words.

But you're right, a < 10 post user asking for advice on how to bomb a site (his site, I get it, I'm sure OP is the real deal) with bad links as an experiment sounds like a legit and seasoned SEO guru.

Keep the attitude! You're getting places. :thumb:

Hence the saying, "Everyone's and expert"

I appreciate the pointless sarcasm and negativity Roamer. I'm sure it makes you look great to your associates here.

I'm sure you understand that not everyone is at your level of intelligence and that his is what all new comers like to experience when looking for a friendly place to post... Apparently this is not one of them. I'll make sure to not come back to this forum and illicit Roamers demeaning overtones.

    Thank you J0kers and Bananaman5000!

There is NO WAY you are going to kill your SERPs with pron or viagra links - if this was true, I could easily kill most of my competition.... Well, this is probably what your experiment is all about, but I'm just dropping my 2c

What could be really bad neighborhood? Just a speculation, but probably links from hacking sites or sites / servers infected with viruses and trojans????

As a matter of fact, it's one of the friendliest places to post and learn, just don't expect Us to spoon feed You or be sympathetic to people of shady intentions. You must've thought your BS was well camouflaged, but I'm happy to see most BHW members could see through it.

Good luck with your scientific endeavors. May them not come back and bite you in the arse.

    Here's the facts:
    * You've just joined the site and are already asking for 10,000+ bad neighborhood backlinks.
    * You claim to be doing some sort of SEO experiment, but you've never heard of XR and don't know how to scrape links.

roamer and anyone with half a brain cell has every reason to be sceptical about whether it's your own site or a competitor's.

So, if what your saying is true, do a case study and document your site's ranking on BHW.
