Is it a bad idea to give somebody you don't know your network referral link to sign up to a network? If they get banned or do shady shit, will it fuck up my account?

It's hard to know because that type of thing is so hard to track. That's why on this forum you must give users the choice to choose between referral link and regular link.

Referral link means they will sign up under you so you make money off their efforts. Regular link means just the address to the website, with no referral.

Yeah, what I was reffering to in the OP was sending someone you don't know my refferal link so I would make money of their sales. I know that it would be completely safe to give them just a link to a the website so they can sign up with no referral.

My question is, if I refer somebody and they sign up, then they get banned for BH or fraudulent stuff or something, will I get banned or get in trouble too?

No, but it would be here since a lot of AM's browse the forums. Some people have even been banned for even having an account here. Just keep that in mind.

Now if it's a occurring trend where the majority of you're referred people are scamming or doing other shady shit, then that's a roll of the dice. Not sure how they deal with that, but they may dig into you're account and figure out where these people are coming from. In the end you can't control what people do.

I would never post my ref link here but giving it to someone even if they Black Hat the hell out of it would not come back on you. You cant control how they market.

What the other person does, has nothing to do with you. As long as you are not committing fraud, you should be fine. I WOULD be a little skeptical about sharing here. As some1 said, the AMs do have accounts here thats the quickest way to get kicked off. If you wouldn't post your name, address & phone number in a public bathroom, don't post your ref link in a public forum.
