I've managed to mess with a Chrome profile and got myself in a jam.

There was an extension in there messing with the connection and it broke. It's now preventing the profile from connecting. Deleted the extension folder and the extension cookies from the /profile/Default folder and it still seems to be screwing with it somehow. The extension doesn't show on the list so I've no idea where it's getting it from at this point.

I don't mind making a new profile but that profile has a cookie which I need. Tried copying across the /profile/Default/Cookies file to the new profile folder but that doesn't seem to be enough. I'm thinking there's probably a Chrome extension that would let me export/import but the original profile can't connect to download the extension so I'd have to load it in manually.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Try copying all the files along with cookies and important folders like blob, session, indexed .

Thanks for the suggestion. Couldn't find anything marked indexed but I've tried the cookies file along with blob_storage, Cache and Session Storage.

Tried deleting any mention of extensions from the original profile and it's still trying to use the other DNS so I can't get it to connect. Trying to get an extension that can export for me but the two I've tried so far apparently need an internet connection to export local files for some stupid reason.

there are lots of other files similar to cookie file you need to copy those or basically every file including blob, session and local storage folder. that should get your cookies back but sometimes google logs you out so you need to login again.
