say you have blog with lots of posts. if you build backlinks to these posts, i know that it will help those specific pages rank better, but will it also help other pages you dont blacklink rank too?

will link juice or whatever its called, flow to my other pages and my homepage?

I know that if you link to your homepage, linkjuice will follow down to all your pages, helping them rank. but does it also work the other way around?

Essentially yes, spreading backlinks across many of your inner pages is very important. You can even be penalized if you have far too many links going only to the root domain of your site.

Make sure you interlink your pages / posts to spread the "juice" around. I like to use a "related posts" plugin to automatically add 5 related posts to a page. That way it does this for me on autopilot.

i use that plugin. i only show 2 related post though. thats b/c most of my titles are similar, meaning all they the same keywords in the title. and if i add too many related posts, it increases the kw density of each post
