Backlinks to Tier 1

I have a site that is a few months old and I try to add a couple of backlinks to the moneysite everyday or every other day. Does it matter how many backlinks I add to my tier 1 properties? ie. (web 2.0s)? also I know adding extra tiers to your tier1 gives you more juice. but do these links also count as links to your money site in the eyes of google or are these just viewed as links to a tier 1 web blog etc?

Tier 2 links are important in indexing, and raising the authority of tier 1 links. These are not counted as direct links to your money site but as your tier 1 links becomes more powerful that will pass more juice to your money site

regularly update material and social media, and keep backlinking.

It does not matter now many links you add to your first tire. Google will count only links that goes directly to your site. You blast the shit out of the first tire and your money site will be fine.

Can I jump in here and ask... with the updated and fresh content - is that for the money site or the tier 1? or both?
I was planning on doing both, but just wondering if the money site HAS to have regular new content? I've been a bit lapse on mine and is probably why errr it's not doing very well to say the least!

Well for me my Tier 1 backlinks take ages to index unless i backlink them so thats a plus one as well

Just remember to add videos and images on your first Tier this will help a lot. After that just go spam Tier 1 will do the job
