    Hello eveyone!

I have a question about brand-able/exact domain anchor backlink, will they increase the ranking of the main keyword even If I'm using an anchor that is not related to said keyword?

    This is the case:

    Url: Domainname.com

anchors on the backlinks are like: domain, domainname.com

Will these kind of anchors increase the rank of my main keyword which is - for example: ''best domain names''?

    Thanks in advance.

In general, high quality links help your domains authority.

I'm your particular case, certainly because your search term is a long tail of the links anchor.

These anchors are not going to help you big for sure. Also it depends on how competitive your KWs are. Try using the mixture of main KWs and branded KWs as anchors - As long as the KW diversity is goodly done, we can expect movements for your main KWs. But why do you even want to use anchors that is not completely related to your main KW?
