    Checkout the "new" Backlinks Indexer:

    Code:
    http://backlinksindexer.com/
Looks like they got hacked, which sucks because I was in the middle of getting a refund and I don't know if the guy is going to be able to see my last message to him :-/

I was looking at the source code and found this at the bottom:

Here is the guys twitter account where he has just tweeted that he hacked the site:

I know, I'm downloading backups of all my sites right now and saving the files to an external HDD.

If you have wordpress sites I recommend a plugin called "xcloner" it's free and has the ability to schedule auto-backups via cron-jobs.

I have a number of security plugins I also run.

LOL. I thought sites like Backlinks Indexer were strong ones and have a bunch of techies behind them.

Damn, this is just so shameful. I hope the site recovers sooner.

The issue is being worked on as we speak. I'm not very pleased with my new host's security mind you but everything is intact and will be redirected properly as quickly as possible.

+1 for jumping on board and giving us all an update! I'm testing a number of indexing services out (the reason for the refund) and I'm going to keep you in the books now that I know your actively working on the situation.

@Backlinksvault. I am glad that things are being worked on to fix that. That threw me off when I checked that :p

Overall, I am quite pleased with what BLI did to my money site SERP's :)

If it helps, Fiverr was under a similar attack a month or two ago.

It's frustrating but I'm glad it happened so I can chew my host's A$$ and get security updated. Sorry for the trouble everyone and I hope to have it resolved soon.

Very nice to see an official response.

But don't you think it'd be better to put on a temporary message on the homepage to let other users know?

    Just my 2 cents.

Yuck just had a site smacked. Not a cool feeling regardless of backups. All I got was a white background w/ txt something like weaREaTaRDHVCked.

Happened 10min after new years + a week locking/securing more. Pretty sure my GF won't make the cut.

Think it was because of a lazy password. I hope

It's a redirect attack. I believe that the actual site is still there ;) It wasn't BLI's fault, but the new host they switched to last week (I think?)
