hello
I want to have all the backlinks that a website has in excel format.
How do i do this?
backlinkwatch.com does not export to excel

Not sure about Excel but if you use yahoo! site explorer to check backlinks, then there is an option at the top right corner to extract first 1000 results in Text file.

with yahoo site explorer, dont you have to prove that you own the domain by uploading a file?

The easiest way, IMO, is by scrapping those backlinks pages, then it can be exported to excel file or other file format.

Here's a simple solution for you.

Download SEOquake

Personally what I do is I go to preferences and I turn everything off except the page rank.

Than I populate the search and I export to an excel file.

The exported file is opened by excel but under text format, so usually I save it as "temp.csv" file.

Then I create another excel file, I go to data - from text.

Click next, uncheck the tab box and check the semicolon box.

Next, finish,ok.

And you have a nice sheet with all the backlinks and their page rank in excel.

It may sound a bit complicated but when you do it once you'll see it's very simple. And you can compile all your files like that.

Hope it helps!
