To answer your question I have only used SB for one site. On my first real blast I had 2000 successful backlinks reported by SB so I pinged them.

After 24 hours only 1 appeared on site explorer

I did another blast around 1000 blogs about 3 days later but it wasnt until about a week later I started seeing real numbers. Think I had between 100-200 after one week.

create 1k backlinks, add 100 baclinks to the previous links on crapp blogs. Enjoy your juice.
