    Hi folks,

I have several questions before launching a backlink blast:

    1) If I obtain relevant and contextual backlinks from English sites (by translating the keyword to English) to a non-English site, would it be still as qualified as getting backlinks from relevant and same language sites?

    2) Can Google estimate the relevance my keyword backlinked from an English site to a non-English one while my anchor text still will be my keyword?
In other words, if my backlinks are from English sites whose contents are relevant to the English equivalent of my non-English keyword, Google can still estimate the relevance between them?

    3) I also want to rank my site in my country's Google prefix. So these backlinks from English sites are useful only for google.com or also good for my country's Google site?

    4) I know that the best thing to do is getting backlinks from relevant, same language sites but if the same language sites are not enough, what is the best thing to do rank rank my site in my country's Google site?

    Thanks for the answers!!!
I am sure that this topic will be useful for other non-English sites.

    1. it would be close to as from the same language.
    2. yes, it does
    3. a link i s link (it is good for many things - anchor, authority, backlink profile etc.)
    4. just try it and you'll have the best answers :)

I do a lot interlanguage linking and it works wonders for me, when in the same (translated) niche.

Interlanguage linking is working for me. Just stick to your niche for the best results.

The truth is, that you will need to build at least 5 times as many links on relevant English sites with non-english anchor to achieve the same result on your non-english site in Google.xx , as you would need to build to achieve the same results with English site in Google.com

I tested this on several sites, so wish you lot of patience - you'll need it!
