Is this a good SEO white hat tactic?

I ran a backlink report on my top 10 competitors to see what backlinks they are getting. I sorted the backlinks to only the follow ones with a good AHREFS rank. That way I am getting juiced past through with the follow and also not spam sites.

I am outsourcing the link building to Elance. Since it is simply take too long for my time. I hire a different person every 300 backlinks. The reason is I want to be safe and have a different IP, dont build backlinks too fast and different GEO location to make Google happy.

It depends what types of links and anchor texts you are having built. You don't want thousands of high OB blog comments. But you also don't just want a bunch of high pr blog posts. You need diversity and quality links.

1. Drip feed and constant
2. Diversity backlink kinds and anchor texts
3. Pyramid model
4. If you have more budget, consider private blog network and purchasing high PR links.

On drip feed I understand that posting new articles good unique content.

Backlinks and anchor words I get.
Private blog can't afford right now.

Pyramid I never understood. Can u explain?

Pyramid model:

Tier #1: Aged web 2.0 properties (at least 1 year), blog posts (guest posts) at other blogs. Think about quality over quantity. All backlinks toward your money site. For this tier #1, don't use spun articles, make sure to use unique articles for max result. Think about Authority, Natural and Niche Relevant. Treat these like your money site.

Tier #2: Low quality web 2.0 properties, social bookmarking. All backlinks toward the tier #1. You may auto bot software for this. Or you can outsource.

You could always hire someone to use a VPN when obtaining the links and that would give you GEO diversity, unless there is some way now for Google to detect VPN use.

It seems a good plan to me. I suggest you to go for quality over quantity. Don't try to make too many backlinks in a short time. I am not sure what is your nice, but if you can get some backlinks from edu and gov sites that would be effective.

You will only find out that your system is flawed from day 1.

While it's a good idea to find out where your competitors get their backlinks from.
Have you considered if they were private links, how would you crack that code?

Another thing you should know is, there is no specific pace you should build your links.
If you can have all your 300 links in one day, go on. Whatever problem that will arise will still arise if you drip feed unless if you know the paths to follow.

If you focus on only high quality links you would be fine, that's the f**king truth.
