what is the safe amount of backlinks to purchase for a very new blog. All i have right now is about 15 and about 50 more that aren't processed yet. I just don't want to attract too much attention from big G. how many could i buy without a ban. Also, i purchasing from Dimensionseo.com which i think a BHW member owns so i am relieved a little. Website looks very professional though and the overall business appearance too.
Any reviews?

thanks

I bought one of the link packages from dimension seo and so far I haven't been to impressed with the results. I have found most of the links are coming from pligg sites and they are very unrelated to my sites some have been very far off and borderline just plain wrong.

I'm still in testing mode with the link package on 2 of my sites i will let you know how it's going..

With link building start off slowly at first and then increase over the weeks and months. Stay consistent if the site makes you money keep increasing and scaling links over time.

Make sure they don't all come from the same sources though. Vary your links.

I agree with digitalblue , its safer to buy from site related to your niche.

dimension seo: useless so far - about 4 weeks ago, I bought 500 links and spread them to 2 sites:

site one 300 links - yahoo site explorer showing 11 new links from unrelated niches, no improvement in rankings

site two 200 links - yahoo site exlorer shows 20-30 new links from unrelated niches, rankings actually worsened

Believe me, I wanted this to work out, I would've bought 1000s more backlinks if it had worked out. I know it has only been about 4 weeks, but I should be seeing more new links by now.

DimensionSeo - The buttholes have closed shop and disappeared. Anyone know them?

yeah are they the same that had proxies, that where ports, and didn't work!
bad experience with both there products

Yeah, I tried the service as well. I had only gotten the cheapest one just to see how it did. Well I didn't get any backlinks at all from it and my ranking actually dropped. :/ So, I learned my lesson gotta stop being lazy and start doing my own backlinks.

Hi Mister BH!

you can purchase as many as you want, the most the better - just do it the right way

1) Try to prevent from footer links (wich are not s valueable and google have a great chance to recognize it as a "buy link" satuation

2) Try to prevent from "My Partners" sections

3) Try that your link will be in the content of the page - that way ulcle G' wont catch you on that one

4) Switch keywords from time to time, don't buy with the same anchor text, try to change it from time to time

Wish you the best

So....YOU, Commander, are selling links now? Ohhhhhhhhhhhh boy.

There is a way to get targeted Niche with software... use PR storm and serp link harvester with your keywords :)

I've gone off buying links, people charge way too much. You could get a banner ad through a network on a site for cheaper.

the effect this type of junk links will show ONLY AFTER 6 MONTH!! If the links will age and are not total crap (on a page with 500 other links) then you will see the effect, but it takes time.

I wouldn't purchase links straight away to a new blog. Start off slow and get a few from some related sites is probably the best way to stay under the radar.

Link building is really simple...just boring as hell! Start off building links any way you can but mix it up, a bit of social bookmarking, story submission, article to ezinearticles and then submit to unique article wizard, directory submissions, blog commenting, PAD submits, just hit it all but slowly and gradually.

Try to automate where possible. Eg. Article submission use Unique Article Wizard and Social bookmarking use Bookmarking Demon. Outsource account creating where possible, check out Odesk for cheap and even test to see if they can actually post to your accounts as well.

If you go the outsource way give them all the content don't have them write it. Spin it all headings and body content with Jetspinner and send it in to your outsources and get them to submit it. If a new site only get about 3 links per day and then gradually scale up. Keep spreadsheets and records of every link submitted, ping every RSS feed to index the links quicker.

And when checking backlink reports always use Yahoo site explorer and never google unless you want to see the disappearing links magic trick.

Remember as well that if your not buying links on highly targeted sites then your going to need more of the other less targeted links.

Hope this helps.
