BackLink Help - What Am I Doing Wrong??

Plz Help,
I posted comments conaining links on about 10-15 websites ( at least 5 i know accepted), I got refferals from 4 .gov websites and one .mil website, but again when i check for backlinks with some web backlink checker i got 0 backlinks.

I Guess there's something im missing about backlinks... If you can help plz do.

Give it some time. A crawler needs to go over the site that you posted on to pick up on your link. You can use a pinging service, like pingler, to try to speed things up.

Make a post on web 2.0 about the pages that you just commented. It will show up.

Do you mean make a backlink to the website i commented on, on some post? or what websites specificly do you mean? thx

An average joe doesnt ping a page after he comments on it, if you want to appear natural, dont ping. It will take longer for the links to showup, but it definitely will. Dont worry if backlinks doesnt show in google, they always hide it.
