Sorry for the newb question but I continuously see comments "Dont directly blast your site", "You're gonna get deindexed like that", "You went about it the wrong way", etc etc.

So tell me this, whats the CORRECT way to build backlinks to your website? If your not directly blasting "your site" then how are you building backlinks for it?

Do I make a web 2.0 site with articles directly related to "my site" and hope users click the links on the web 2.0 site to send traffic to my site? If thats the case then wouldnt I be building backlinks to the web 2.0 site instead of my "actual" website?

I know these are newb questions but I honestly read soooo much on here that i confuse myself only because Im reading threads from like 2011, 2012 and some are present but i dont know what still works and what methods to avoid.

Just hoping maybe someone can give me some "solid" advice. Not asking to be spoon fed but just asking for maybe a method that is still relevant in todays standards.

you should make web 2.0 sites with quality articles related to your money site. Then you start blasting on tiers to these web 2.0s, so the only direct backlinks to your money site are the web 2.0s.

If you find a way to get backlinks from High PR and do follow sites, then you can safely point those directly to your money sites, but all the low quality spam should go on tiers to your web 2.0s

You will not get much traffic or clicks from your web 2.0s to your money sites, this whole deal is about SEO and doing all that for boosting your SERPs and thats where you will get your traffic

web 2.0 are used to funnel linkjuicy to your moneysite without getting a penalty due to having spam links pointing directly.

I appreciate that. Allow me to piggyback that question now and just ask, if one of the strings that I want to rank high in on G is "download free music" then whats the "proper" way to do that? Lets say I make a web 2.0 site thats music related, then some where within a few articles do i hyperlink a url to my money site with a clickable link that says "download free music"? I mean I would add something like that deep within an article or 2 or 3? Or is there a different way i would have to go about it.

Again, sorry about the questions but I truly want to approach this the correct way.

Do you "maybe" have an example of a web 2.0 site that has a few articles on it with an example of how they are backlinking a certain keyword(s)?

It's all true with the only fact that Web 2.0 properties are built only with expectation of a link juice, not the traffic

Just make sure all of the content pointing to your website is very high quality. You are safe with manually written web2.0s. Just be careful not to create spammy links to your website directly. The links you create aren't meant to directly drive traffic but simply to act as Google food.

Hahaha. I completely understand but at the end of the day we are all here with one sole purpose and I just figure by asking direct questions without asking "teach me how you make money step by step" then I would hopefully get some genuine feedback. I appreciate the things that were shared with me tho.
