Hi Guys!

Curious if anyone has a solution to regularly backup FollowLiker on a MAC? Outside Time Machine, does anyone have a solution that they regularly use?

Thanks!

I use FL on a Mac, and I regularly "export" my project settings. I have to admit I'm not exactly sure if it works properly. I guess I should try to import one of these exports.

I use Time Machine and a surprisingly efficient backup application called SuperDuper!

Here's a follow-up...

I had a crashed and used (thank-ful) a daily carbon copy backup to restore. I copy daily 3 directories, the one in documents, the one in applications (I think) and m project files.

Everyday at 3am I do a backup of all my machines using CC. So.. low and behold I needed to restore yesterday a crashed server. To my surprise, outside of not having the latest program update, it seemed to restore perfectly using the CC backup.

Hope that helps....

OK... So i'm going to eat my own words. It looks like I've not been able to properly recover a crashed machine that was backup using Time Machine. I have an open ticket with FL however I have a feeling I'll get the typical 1 sentence reply to figure things out.

Outside backup procedures as set out by FL, is there an automated way to backup FL?

Try SuperDuper!. It creates a complete bootable copy of your hard drive. If you drop your MacBook, you can boot from an external hard drive. But if you only need one file or one folder, you can access the backup and copy whatever you need.
