Hi, I am a mom. Back in my hometown the schools are closed because of covid-19 and the internet is crashing and children cannot do their school work. I have read about proxies, hyperborea, meshnet, and rasberry pi, but what I want to know is if you link a pod of computers and phones together like this, will they all be stronger together to not let those computers crash when everyone is trying to get on the distance learning at the same time? Sorry if this is a basic question. I am very new to computers.

No, this doesnt work like this.

To help you, one would need to know the details exactly of the situation.

If your local providers didnt expect such volume of traffic, they need to extend their capacities, you can't do anything in that case. I suggest not wasting your time finding a solution, this is not your responsibility.

EDIT: If only your household suffer from such problems in your area, you simply need to buy a faster package at your internet provider, but your question sounds like its a region wide problem.
