I think this is old technique, cause I have read it long time a go from affiliate newsletter.
 
Although submitting site to Yahoo directory under the "suggest a site" may not be something new or back door, it's great of u to share this piece of info here. I think the main difference is that this particular Canada directory is now hungry for sites to be listed there. It'd probably be easier to get included.

I'd submitted my site years back to Yahoo. But, until now it's still now listed. Hope this Canada one will get me in. Thanks!
 
it's true, I got my website listed there, but I forgot how long it took, not longer than 2 months for sure...

hello? But every country under dir.yahoo.com has a free submit / suggest a link button? No difference I think. If someone says CA is hungry for new sites, how about yahoo in some developing countries who has less websites... so a bit puzzled about the topic.
 
Thanks for the heads up too.

I'm sure it'd make a whole world of difference to have an entry point from Yahoo's Canadian sister directory.
 
Is it working? Did anyone get their website listed like this?
 
I have a strong suspicion that this is just linkbait for smartseovideos. I don't know of anybody who's reported credible success with it.
