Hey,

I guess I should start of with introducing myself, I'm 27 years old and been hunting that passive income on and off since I was 22.

My last journey here was actually my last try as well. Even though I didn't update the thread I reached $100-150 /month. Which were 300% more than my original goal. Sadly it wasn't enough and didn't satisfy me enough to keep me going. I cashed out one check from Amazon and went on with my life while my domain expired (got bought) and reached the end of my hosting contract and lost my content as well.

I think my goal was my main issue $50 /month isn't enough to have any impact in my life, I live in Sweden with an income of $2400 after taxes (jesus, these 34% taxes).

This time, I will set a higher goal of $500 /month and if achieved. Another website will be created while maintaining this one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The journey introduction.
(as far as expectations goes, I'm more or less a noob. Grasping the concept of what I'm going to do, but might struggle in the actual process)

Site.
A non English affiliate site in the hygiene niche.
Running a wordpress theme (Rehub) since I had that around since before.

Done so far:
Hosting - $50
Domain - $10
Bought 5x 550 words articles - $120, damn this expensive writers. Wasn't even that good.
Bought one 1k words article for my landing page. $10
Wrote 2x 1k word articles myself $0.

Spent: $190
Income: $0

Next, I will order 5x product reviews.
Complete the design
Do all the internal linkbuilding (If anyone know how a effective structure look these days, I'm up for some tips)
Create the sitemap
Look over my PBN options, I guess they should be from Sweden, with Swedish content if my site is in Swedish right?

Thanks for having me!

How is your experience with rehub? Do you like it as a theme? I have it and find it very time consuming to setup.

34% tax is insane. That would make it really difficult to scale a site.

Anyways, good luck with your journey.

With social fees it’s not 34% but rather 50%. However, this should not affect scaling if you take the time to setup a company since it’s applied to the money you withdraw.

Buy the links in the company from other companies, if you can - and you don’t pay taxes.

As far as the setup goes, I think it's reasonable when you think about all the tools that are included in the theme. And the pagebuilder is fairly easy too. I'm just happy that I don't have to code everything on my own.
But due to the fact that the tools are pre-built for Amazon or non availible affiliate sites (in sweden) I might change the theme to Divi 3.0.

Yeah this is also a factor that really puts me of, I get that we all pay taxes and the importance of it. But compared to most other countries, the struggle is a bit harder. For example. For me to earn a living doing webdesign, I would have to earn close to $5300 a month to have a standard Swedish income efter taxes. And by having an income of $3500 prior to taxes that's close to living on bare minimum. A bit off topic, but I guess that company income is somewhat relevant. I leave it at that. :)
Thank you!

Day 2.

Started the day with removing my now previous theme (rehub) and bought Divi 3.0, (another ~$90) mostly because it looks a bit better. But the time it takes to set a whole page up is amazing. Something valuable when I need to start another affiliate site.
I don't know if there is anyone who really cares, but I attach a video introducing the theme.
And Festinger's thread where he shares this theme with a bunch of other ones. Make sure you have the builder plugin to make the most use of this awesome theme.

Festinger's [GET] https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/m...premium-wp-themes-and-plugins-storage.995802/

Received a few articles, and you might think that I would receive something with high quality when the cost of 2k words is $120, but no. Spent 1-2 hours editing that.
Received the 1k landing page article from another writer, the quality for the cost of $10 were surprisingly good. Not much to change here.
Ordered a logo from the user Gold Service, I don't really know what to expect with the cost of $9 for the logo and $5 for faster delivery. But it's not that important.
Made some on page seo optimization.

Total spent so far: $190 + $90 + $14 for a total of $294

Income: $0

Day 3.
How long does it take ~ do get indexed now days?

Today I did the following
  • Seo optimized all my articles + landing page. Around 4-5k words.
  • Set up "all" my socials, Instagram, Facebook and Google+
  • Fixed some issues regarding the loading speed of the website. Took me forever, but I learned a few things which I'm grateful for. - See attached image for results.
Plans for tomorrow
  • Do the full price comparison table of my affiliate products on the landing page.
  • Order reviews of the same site's /products.
  • Apply for the actual affiliate programs.
  • Look in to the option of running some instagram bot, pushing my target audience to my website.
Questions, if anyone would read this.

1) lets say my niche is make-up and I get 40% commission of the average $62 order + $25 when I refer a new customer. They all sell 3-10 products and have a ton of brand information. I will be signing up to 8 of these programs.
Should I review them as a brand, or every product? I'm leaning towards them as a brand due to me being lazy and the option to just link the products and review them at a later state.

2) Since I would be running one instagram account, I won't be needing a proxy. But what's the best bot at the moment?

Total spent so far: $294
Income: $0

Good luck!

If your site is in Swedish you could try to get it added to Swedish directories. It's free, but it takes a few weeks to get added. There's a few really strong swedish directories out there that you can use. Just do some googling and you'll find them.

Sure thing, I will buy Scrapebox after my next salary. Kinda short of money this month.
I don't understand the process though, I scrape the sites for the links and then what? How could the links point towards me?
I know that you basically told me, with GSA indexer. But I don't understand the mechanics behind that at all :anyway:

Thanks for the tip. I Requested to join 4-5 of them :)

Day 6

Well, as in all cases my personal life got between me and the journey for a few days.
Running a bit short of money, at least to short to spend it all on tools and articles, which is sad because I have to write everything by myself and that sucks because this niche is the worst and most boring ever.

So the last 3 days progress:
  • Received my logo, which were pretty good considering I paid $9.
  • Submitted my site to 4-5 directories for that link-juice (made sure PA/DA and spamscore were in order)
  • Manually created two web 2.0's with spun and translated (manually) articles. I'm fairly sure that's alright.
  • Written 3x 1k+ words review/comparison articles.
  • Contacted all the products holders for the products I'm promoting about a review-copy, my site looks good and it should be in their interest (small niche) to provide me with it for better content.
  • Improved my site speed a bit more. Can't do better than this (see attached image)
Plans going forward the following days:
  • Keep on writing these boring articles
  • Structure the internal link building, should it still be a silo guys?
  • Submit to the affiliate program
  • Targeted Facebook ads until I rank my KWs

Nice journey! Go for silo structure and start creating more web 2.0's so you can let them age a bit before linking.
