So I am new to content locking. I added the code from Adwork Media to my site and all was well, until I used my FireFox browser with Ad Block Pro installed on it. No content locker shows up. Just FREE content! ugh! I checked the box on the content locker to "protect from ad block software". Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you in advance.

I've seen a few sites that tell the visitor to disable their ad blocker before they can access the site. I'm not sure how to implement this. Maybe someone knows and can show us how to do this?

Hey OP,

I can help ya!

Hmm, are you trying to make the locker appear when clicking a button? If so, please let me know how you installed it on your site to tell you whats wrong

Also remember that the adblock plus thing can be configured on the awm platform (if i remember well :) )

I have the locker set up to appear right away. I made a site on Weebly, so I dragged over the <embed> widget and popped in the locker code from AWM.

If I remember well, to make that happen, you have to enter the code on the header. As you can edit the header on blogger/blogspot, you can succesfully add your awm locker.

You should add the code on the header on weebly :D

Any question, just post it and ill try to help :)

Ohh, and if you want the locker to appear aftr clicking a button you will need the awm code on the header + adding an id or class to the object you want to trigger the locker :D

Yes, this is what I am doing. My issue is with this AdBlockPro. It removes the locker completely. I checked the box on AWM to help defend against it, but it doesnt. Maybe a lot of people do not have AdBlockPro?

There must be sth wrong with your set up.

Mind if I check your site privately? (Just PM me) (PS: I wont disclose anything related to your site) :D

I appreciate the offer, but I prefer not to disclose my site. I will just contact my AM over there tomorrow.

and why not use "redirect/file url"
1. lock page and put on it only something like "turn off adblock"
2. redirect them to file or what ever you are locking

i don't have to mention that redirect will happen only when they fill survey
have you tried like that?

I'm doing it like that with clp
