Awesome Traffic Bot - Users Discussions

But they know it's fake traffic and they can't help to grow business
Traffic is a crucial Google ranking factor. Most companies just blast traffic to client sites and ruin their SEO. Very unnatural and Google can see this, thus penalizing the site with lower rankings or even worse a manual action. Nice and slow is best. Less is more in this case then building up traffic gradually. Leaves a much more natural click profile.

Who is saying it’s fake traffic? Do you really think that if you are paying some decent amount of money for a software your business will not grow? Really?

Bot traffic because is botted haha. We are talking about the same . You don’t have to be so angry about it.

It is never recommended to use traffic bots with ad sense.

I've had good luck with Traffic Bot Pro. Traffic bot pro needs its handheld a lot more.
Does it still work? Would you recommend any other bot?

I have a lifetime license key for Awesome Traffic Bot
I am selling it for less than its official price because I don't use it anymore

I've been using Awesome Traffic Bot almost daily for 6 months. I have about 80 campaigns.

Pros:
  • It does work. The traffic shows up in google analytics and search console.
  • The workflow for adding new campaigns is easier than in competitor softwares I've tried. Just clone and change a few things.
  • The software automatically browses pages with natural browsing behaviors. You don't have to set up the behavior yourself.

Cons:
  • Software is incredibly buggy and almost never updated. No updates in 6 months is crazy.
  • The traffic from ATB can be recognized as unusual browsing activity. When I applied for a publisher account at a certain ad company, they told me their software found that 10% of my traffic is linked to automated browsers and web proxies in a certain location. That was exactly the amount of traffic and the location that I am using in ATB.
  • Weird workflows that don't make sense. For example, when you want to bulk-edit campaigns, you have the option to "Modify" or "Overwrite". Nowhere in the documentation is it explained what that means or what the difference is. Through trial and error, I've found that there is somewhat of a difference: "Overwrite" seems to merge all differences from the different campaigns into each other. So if you have one campaign that has 6 tasks, and one that has 5 tasks, the one that has 5 tasks will have the 6th task appended to it. But if one of your campaigns has a task to visit a site directly, while another has a task to visit via search engine, the campaign with the search engine task will be changed to be a direct visit task. Hard to explain in words, the takeaway is that "Overwrite" fucks up your campaign settings, and "Modify" will often just not work, especially when editing proxies. Which brings me to the next point....
  • Editing proxies is such a pain. Instead of separating proxies into their own section, and having each campaign access a "Proxy Set" saved elsewhere, you have to add and edit proxies in each campaign. Which forces you to bulk edit campaigns, but as mentioned above, bulk edit doesn't work properly: If you use "Modify", it won't change the proxies across all campaigns, just the first one. The other campaigns are now broken and you can't change the proxies in them at all. However, If you choose "overwrite", it updates the proxies across all campaigns, but fucks up all the other parameters of your campaigns.

I still have 6 months on my license, so I'll use this software until then, but I won't be renewing. I am super frustrated with their update cycles and poor support.

I just remembered another super annoying thing about Awesome Traffic Bot: For each new browsing session it starts, it creates a folder on your computer. The problem is, it never deletes them! One day I got a notification from Windows saying my 4TB drive was almost full. I did a scan, and ATB took up 3TB of space. In my use case, ATB uses about 50-80GB of hard drive space every 24 hours.

So if you use the software a lot, you need to delete 100GB from your hard drive per day, which leads to your drive degrading faster. And deleting the tons of tiny small files ATB generates, takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes each time due to the limitations in Windows Filesystem.

Did you try any alternatives to ATB?
